Awesome mod - allows to really - and finally - see some of nicer map structures, like the Summer Palace in prologue. A godsend when using Mission Control and extended maps.
I'd like this very much also. Initially I want overview but when battle begins it's easier to be zoomed in halfway in. I have to do that every turn and would welcome this change. :)
Unfortunately there is no settings I can change to effect the camera like that.
The only option would be to reduce max zoom to something like 750 instead of 1020.. You'd zoom out to about ~1.5x of the base game's zoom instead of the ~2x i have the mod set to now.
I don't have access to the Russian localized version of the game so I have no idea if that's the problem. The only thing I can do is upload a slightly different version of the mod that patches the file in another way. Maybe that will fix your problem.. If not... I have no idea..
That said, if you want to dig into the game files yourself then the file I've edited for this mod is located at ~\BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\StreamingAssets\data\constants\CombatGameConstants.json
and the only variables I changed are: "ZoomSpeed": 5000.0, "MaxHeightAboveTerrain": 1020.0
