Manually add these to the Commander Portrait Loader by Morphyum- Callyste - Jamie Wolf
https://www.nexusmods.com/battletech/mods/84
For those who have the Commander Portrait Loader Mod, you just extract the zip file and drop the new Protraits folder straight into the
CommanderPortraitLoader folder of CPL "Job done". Over write any files, as these are replacing the "game original portraits" that come
with CPL. I used a couple of the portraits that were in the CPL mod as a base for some of my adjusted portraits, but changed their file names to reflect game portraits anyway. Many thanks to gaultesian and JWolf1672 for the advice.
If you are using Commander Portrait Loader you already have installed, ModTek using the instructions here
For a less recommended way of modding you can just extract the zip and copy the new Portraits folder directly into your
BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\StreamingAssets\sprites folder, overwriting what is there.
But if you're going to do that, please make sure you make abackup of the relevant original game files.
If anyone wants to add these to their own mod, feel free, just a quick credit would be appreciated.
arguskos has already offered to drop them into the CPL of the latest release of BattleTech Advanced 3062 https://www.nexusmods.com/battletech/mods/452
I am in the process of building a mod to add these in to the game in a stand alone fashion, but as so many people already use CPL I thought I'd upload
this so that they could use the new portraits straight away. Also, I'm still working on "adjusting" some more portraits that will come out as set 2, so that stand alone mod is on hold for a little while longer.
