try it. it just changes the numbers for three items in the simgameconstant i just change the numbers my self whenver there is an update takes all of half a minute so if it doesnt work there is that
Anyone have any luck getting this to work on 1.3? I miss having a full barracks of pilots who don't cost the market price of a heavy mech to maintain. :(
EDIT
Finally got it to work! I had to do a fresh install and delete all my mods, then reinstall BTML and Modtek to latest versions before re-adding everything, yassss
If you spend some time in game, after you load in, you'll be able to take advantage of this. It'll not show up on the same day, so just wait some time to pass and it'll work for ya.
For the five of you using this mod: I'm working on a new version that will use the difficulty menu to set MechWarrior pay and an option to adjust the Argo's Base Operating costs as both a lore-correction and as a kind of counter to pilots costing so little.
UPDATE: I only started messing with javascript yesterday, but I think that my plan to make a difficulty menu plugin that doesn't conflict with others like RogueTech's advanced options is impossible. Anyone who has more than 5 hours of experience with this is encouraged to correct me if I'm wrong.
Could you make your suggestion a seperate mod or optional file in this one? You could put your suggestion one down as a "Lore-friendly" one or something and then the initial one as the original variant. Edit: Cause I'd rather use the original (current variant), I prefer to pay them upfront for a year and have much lower salaries and that's it.

My game sits at the loading screen and does not progress any further.
When I hit CRTL + ALT +DEL, task manager shows that unity has crashed.
This is the only mod that I am using so I'm trying to narrow down if the mod is causing the issue or something else....
