Summary Allows users to configure how quickly mechs and vehicles move in combat
Requirements BTML and ModTek
Installation Instructions Extract the folder to your BATTLETECH/Mods folder, or create the Mods folder if you don't have one.
Edit the mod.json file to configure the movement speed. 1.0 is vanilla (100%), 1.8 is 180% of vanilla, 0.67 would be slower, at 67% of the movement speed. There is only one setting to change, SpeedMultiplierSetting
Game and my defaults are listed below (X // Y). All can be changed in the mod.json file.
SpeedMultiplierSetting: 1.0 // 1.75 (movement is 75% faster)
Even if HBS patches the mech or vehicle json files, this mod will work fine because of BTML and Modtek.
This also works on new vehicles, mechs or combat actors added to the game via mods, no changes needed.
Want to take back control of the camera, speed it up, increase zoom limits or stop annoying alerts? Check out my other mod, CamZoom.
Special Thanks CptMoore for his SpeedMod. If you want what this mod does to be toggled on and off by a key press, in game, check out his mod. It even has a new button!
