    just edit the firing arc of the weapon must be in the json somewhere if its hardcoded to the mech you have to edit mech firing arc and enter a line to each weapon to define eachs weapons firing arc and make mech firing arcs 360 degrees and you have to edit dfa+melee aswell :S

      The only thing I was able to find in a hurry was "FiringArcDegrees": 60.0 under "ToHit": in the CombatGameConstants.json.
      So it seems that at least the firing arc is NOT in any way related to specific weapons, which means that even if you would be able to dig something up in the dll files, my guess is that at the most you 'could' MAYBE (likely not, though) change the firing arc for all weapons on all mechs/vehicles.

    If they 'do nothing' as it says in the description, why would I want this mod if it nerfs weapons? I mean, they ought to at least do as the title of this mod suggests and fire rearward instead of do nothing.

      Nobody's forcing you to use this mod, man. This is for people who like doing stock runs and want the nerf to their loadouts to be tabletop accurate, and those who don't enjoy being fired on by a stock BattleMaster with 6 forward mounted MLs, when they know that it should only be 4 MLs.

      I like it, it's a good idea. I hope a solution can be figured out for real rear-mounted weaponry that work in the rear arc, that would be sweet.
