For anyone also looking for sorting fixes I highly recommend ACCount12's mod, which you can download from GitHub:
- sorts the salvage screen and shops so that more valuable items (lostech, mechs, +/++/+++ gear are at the top) - sorts the mech lab weapons/equipment by categories, types, etc. with ammo after weapons
splintermind, please contact me via PM or on discord as 'dizzy' so we can discuss a project I'm doing for L. Alekto on an EW Panel in the Mechbay. Thanks.
As of 1.1 Update using this mod will totally bork your Mech Bay UI. The 1.1 UI changes have already added this feature, so congratz to the Author for this mod while we had use of it!
No, these changes require code modification and the best way to implement the necessary code changes while maintaining compatibility with other mods is with BTML/ModTek. Harmony (which BTML uses) has been around for a while and is used for many other games to provide mod support.
If you're dead set against using it, the source code is available via the GitHub link to modify and recompile the Assembly-CSharp.dll yourself.
Great game and all, but you'd figure the devs would fix this kind of stuff in a patch... They must be aware of all these mods springing up that fix stuff. Still not as bad as Skyrim and all the unofficial patches, of course -- that blows my mind.

Until there is a way to add more opposition to the missions this is the single most important mod to the game.
That nearly drove me mad, but after using this mod I can once again sleep peacfully ^^
Endorsed and voted +1
PS: would it be possible to stop the Mechwarrior list from scrolling (seemingly at random tbh) every time that I train one of them?
The .dll file in the v1.2 archive is the same one in v1.1.
