Great mod and weapons work perfectly - only 2 questions please: - How can I change the FOV back to normal, its a bit too zoomed out - My weapon icons are messed up, but have installed as per instructions - any idea if this is just my game messing up?
To normalize the field of view again, you need to modify the weapon .dbx files with the BBC2 mod tool.I don't know why the weapon icons are incorrect. I don't have that error and wouldn't know how to fix it, but it might be due to the game version. I created it in the Origin version.
Seconding this post. Fantastic mod, except for the FOV on the first person assets being too high.
I am also using a disc (with the latest patch applied) and am seeing the issue with gun/item icons being garbled. I assume there is an extra gun or two included in the Origin version not present in the disc version, which is throwing it out of whack.
Coold mod but minimap, icons and FOV are messed up. Hard to play or have fun. I've read that its possible to edit files but editing 20 files for something basic like FOV fix is what should be included already with the mod
Yoy if you added many enemies then is possible you can also add many generic allied soldiers in every levels and follow you around here, shoot enemies and can die by enemy fire? This would be very great warzone mutator style from brothers in arms road to hill 30 by rendroc
Hello, i've seen a lot of people only wanting the MP weapons and nothing else, im one of them and would love to hear how it's going with uploading a version of the mod like that. Thank you.
Thanks for the mod :D. Actual fire, not gonna lie. There are still crashes (couldn't go further than one savepoint because of how much enemies are there, they just drop the game) or occasional bugs with how you pick up a weapon from the crate, but still - it's awesome. I have some questions about whole thing behind the scenes - what exactly takes to revert enemy spawns and their difficulty like health, it is baked into the map file or just some config file inside one of files? Also, what are the plans for broken weapons ? p.s not pushing with the ultimate question "WHEN THE WEAPONS BRO ?", absolutely not, just curious what it takes
Hello, yes there are errors with the weapons but I did not fix them so as not to make people wait but they can be fixed. I made a lot of enemies because I was tired of always having the same ones and their same weaknesses, so I modified them like this. and if you don't like it and you want to modify it, you can do it, if you want to lower its health bar you have to extract the SP_COMMON file with the BFBC2 Toolkit application and then enter the AI folder and then click on the DIFFICULTY file and there you can modify the health depending on the difficulty you play, another thing you can do is go to the OBJECTS/SODIERS folder and go to the SP_RU or SP_MEC folder, in the SP_RU folder there will be all the Russian soldiers and their variants and from there you can also modify their health, and in the SP_MEC folder you will find all the soldiers of the Latin American militia and their variants and you can also modify their health, to modify the number of enemies in a level it is a little more complicated because you must go to the LEVELS folder and there You will find all the levels of the game.
Thanks, checked both the original and modified version of soldier files, guess actual difficulty wasn't tweaked, numbers are pretty logical (except what the hell is fourth, Hardcore difficulty ?). Also, where i can get info about the things like WaterDamage or ReviveTime ? And the most interesting part of this little dive into BFBC2 modding - what is this level-00 file ? It's totally different from the original in terms of options. Really sorry for spending your time, but that's interesting as hell.
The fourth difficulty is the difficulty that exists in multiplayer mode and is not found in campaign mode. WaterDamage is the amount of damage that the water does to the enemy and ReviveTime, I don't know what it is, maybe it's the time it takes for the enemy to regenerate their health. The level 00 file is the folder that the application leaves you when extracting an FBRB file.
I got CTD when starting level 3 loading screen. When I deleted the mod and started playing level 3 again, the problem disappeared. I played this mod and 3P Camera.
The situation is still the same, now I have removed the mods and play the vanilla game + 3P camera again. By the way, can you make multi-enemy mods?, I have no right to ask anyone to do anything but just hope to experience the multi-enemy mod, I like a little bit of fierceness from the battlefield.
Soon I will upload a new version of the mod and maybe the problem will be solved. Yes, you can make a mod for several enemies but I warn you that this mod already has that in place but I can make a separate one.
i just uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, deleted the profile in C:\Users\Documents\BFBC2 and installed the mod (it seems that installing BFBC2 Mod Loader, 3P Camera Singleplayer NEW makes the game crash @@!). The game was able to load the third stage (Heart of Darkness). But there is a problem that throwing away the M16A2 gun and getting another gun makes the loading of the third stage not work but go back to the menu. when holding the M16A2 gun in the retry the game can load the third stage. Another problem is that my teammates sometimes don't participate in the fight, they just run around and hide, facing too many enemies makes me dizzy.
Honestly I don't understand much what you're saying but this MOD already has the third person camera and you don't need the BFBC2 Mod Loader and don't use it with this MOD because it generates conflicts but I'm already uploading the new version of the MOD you just have to wait for it I finished
If your teammates do that thing of hiding and not attacking when you lose in a level and when you start again they don't attack, I think that happens because of the weapons they carry since they are multiplayer and not single player, then I have to fix it
That happens to me sometimes too, try to be stealthy so he doesn't hear you and kill him, I also don't recommend playing the first level because it doesn't change it much, I recommend playing from level 2.
