PLEASE NOTE: Frosty is designed around Origin, if you're playing on another platform (Like Steam) it's going to have issues. You can change the primary platform that Frosty launches from through its settings tab. Tutorial here.
Also make sure you are using the latest version of Frosty (Download here) when using my projects.
Thank you for downloading, and I hope you enjoy the project that has been over a year in the making!
Edit: If you want some detailed photos of each class of each faction, you can find them on this Imgur post here.
EDIT 2: And the Project is back! Now with all new Pilots, Officers, Tankers, and a smaller overall filesize since I remade the whole thing with a neater file structure! If there's any issues, bugs, missing/broken equipment please be sure yo let me know asap, and as always, enjoy!
Hey, apologies for the delayed response. I'm not too sure what would be causing this, I know people normally have issues like that due to their DirectX version setting.
I wish I could help more but my BF1 is currently unable to run any mods whatsoever and I'm trying to figure out why :/
Love the inclusion of the senegalese boi and harlem hellfighter for the french and american armies respectively. Also a huge fan of the new german class designs in general, never liked how blue they looked in the base game. Best BF1 mod hands down 👍
I love how out of place yet logical the destroyer captains are. I actually thought they should look like that before i knew it's possible to mod bf1. Thank you for the mod. Will try out your others too.
Nah I didn't have to make any creative alterations luckily, was more a spiteful message because I was pissed with how Nexus treated some friends of mine and their projects which were a bit more true to history but for other games, not BF1.
Ah, like BF5? Yay! Imma try this mod out then since it's getting updates, I just hope I can get accustomed to it since I'm so used to the 'Light Touch' Character Changes mod
Hi! Sorry but if you're a beginner there's gonna be a lot to learn. The best advice I can give is to start small and build your way up from there.
Download the Frosty Editor, and use Photoshop to make some simple texture mods at first and get some practice and over time you'll get better and better until you're doing full on uniform and gear replacements!
There's also this server where we have a compiled list of helpful tutorials and resources that could be of great use, as well as friendly people who will be willing to give some more advice.
No problem! As for your question, that's not possible unfortunately just due to how each faction is built in BF1, which lacks any sort of character customisation.
The closest you'll get is making separate mods that have their own appearances and switching between them manually between game sessions which sounds like a pain hah.
Uhhh I think it could be if they did it well unlike in BFV where a lot of the cosmetics were wrong and cringe haha, but if done properly could be neat for sure.

Open the developer command console with "~" and type ui.drawenable false which will disable every ui element, that's how I do it for the screenshots.
Just swap out false with true when you wanna bring it back!

I've been looking for a recently updated mod to switch over to coming from the 'Light Touch' Character Changes mod
My project is still exactly as I wanted it!

Yes sir! Like BFV lol.
Hope you enjoy 1916 though, I really did my best with it! :D

Good luck to you though!
That server I linked to before should be to help though!
