I didn't try it with Legends, however, the changes are to things obscure enough that I would not expect issues. In any case, this does not change save games in any way, so it's safe to add, remove or try.
How does that play with the Ambition Update fix from Tweaks and Fixes ? Does it render it useless (or maybe they are even not compatible)? Or do they on the contrary do different stuff and so complement each other?
As far as I see these two mods patch different things so there should not be any incompatibility. So you can use both.
If you are running the Ambitions Update fix alone without this mod then it won't help you in situations described in "The Issue and the Fix" part of this mod's description, i.e. if you are going to a town, other location or pursuing enemy you won't get ambition resolved.
If you are running my fix alone then you'll experience a small delay after battle and no progress while enemy is around, etc. Otherwise you'll be fine.
Also ambitions fix completely rewrites 3 functions, 2 for no reason at all. This might pose some future compatibility or other mods compatibility issues, it looks like it's fine for now though. So my generic advice will be to try this alone, if delays are comfortable to you then stick with it, otherwise add the ambitions fix.
