Really enjoying this origin so far, scratching the itch of RPing a Southern knight. But maybe a few thoughts on the matter:
-Due to how central the lone hyena is to this run (being a player character and limiting maximum size of the company in the process), faris needs to be a lot better in terms of growth potential. Looking at the perk trees, I am thinking that you intended the lone hyena to be a hybrid character. Perhaps 2-3 stars on melee and ranged, with 1-2 stars on another stat of your choice could suffice?
-Alternatively, you could have a army wide perk attainment when recruiting new brothers. Since it looks like bright is a fixed trait for all faris backgrounds, I think student would be a good call.

i dont like the perk tree so much as of now, it definetly needs some polishing.
