Version 2.0 makes many changes, notably adding two flavors: a "variants only" version and a "variants + new items" version. Use the former if you feel the new equipment causes balance changes, and only want some visual flavor, and the latter if you want the new gear (e.g. masked nomad helms, visored barbutes) to show up.
Also, importantly: Version 2.0 is not save-game compatible with old versions of the mod. Do not use it if you're in the middle of a campaign that had 1.3 or lower installed.
mod won't work. Downloaded it from github, installed normally and can't see the new equipment in game, even though i visited countless armories to check out. I'm using the newest steam version of the game
Hmm, no issues on my end with v3.2 of the mod and 1.5.0.15. When you download from Github make sure you download from the "Releases" page (also linked linked in the Readme on Github) and not the whole repo.
Hey, really sorry I missed this. Yes, you want both Equipment Variants and Additional Equipment. The former is all the reskins of equipment currently in the game, and the latter is the new gear I added. You only need the most recent version of both, so as of this comment you'd end up with two files in your data/ directory when all is said and done: sato_additional_equipment_3.0 sato_equipment_variants_1.2
hello, I've always thought that ljirok body armor doesn't look nice, can u make one looks good? I mean without bone spikes on the back and no skull swinging on the belt :)
You can paint the barbutes/conic helms, if that's what you're asking. Paint won't do anything for the other headgear, just as with non-paintable vanilla items.
There's no armor painting in vanilla bbros, and I'm not going to add a system for that here. Think Legends has something like that, but there's already different colors of noble mail in that.
