    mod_AC is no more open-source now than it previously was. You were always allowed to do pretty much whatever you wanted with it. The mod_AC distribution permissions are unchanged:

    Other user's assets: All the assets in this file belong to the author, or are from free-to-use modder's resources
    Upload permission: You can upload this file to other sites but you must credit me as the creator of the file
    Modification permission: You are allowed to modify my files and release bug fixes or improve on the features without permission from or credit to me
    Conversion permission: You can convert this file to work with other games as long as you credit me as the creator of the file
    Asset use permission: You are allowed to use the assets in this file without permission or crediting me
    Asset use permission in mods/files that are being sold: You are not allowed to use assets from this file in any mods/files that are being sold, for money, on SteamWorkshop or other platforms
    Asset use permission in mods/files that earn donation points: You are not allowed to earn Donation Points for your mods if they use my assets

    I made an update of this for AC version 1.26.

    Beastmasters still do not appear to spawn (I plan to correct that), but houndmaster should be able to perk/level up without issues again (fix is a bit lazy, but it suffices for the time being). 

    The update is presently the Legends discord, over at submod_files channel. I plan to make my own Nexus page sooner or later, though.

    I asked wuxiangjinxing beforehand about posting here; they are fine with it.

    Can confirm, it doesn't work with the version of Legends that is at Nexus now - the perk tree gets broken on houndmasters, perks go missing and can't level the character up. Also, what about the Dog Handling perk tree? Is it just useless while using this mod?

    I might take it upon myself to grab Legends and see if I can work out the various compatibility issues between the mods. Making sure the mod_AC stuff works as intended when also using Legends, that is. I'm adding it to my to do list anyway. Might take a while or two before I get to it, however.

    Thanks for the mod(mod).

    Maybe it's an idea to also have druid and ranger also give their equipped companions more experience and/or increased taming chance?

    Mod conflicts on perks table with the current beta of Legends - can't seem to allocate perks

    how to add perks from legends to Accessory Companions?

      In scripts/companions/companions_quirks, you will have to add those perks anywhere in the AttainableQuirks array (these are the skills the pets can learn), and also add them in the same index of both the SerializeQuirks and the DeserializeQuirks arrays to have your game save and load correctly.

    Was there anything specific you had to do in order to make mod_AC and Legends compatible? Besides adding the Legends-specific pets and making certain Legends perks work, that is.

    There is happening a bug with the taming ability when it's used on the serpents. The serpent disappears, when the skill hits successfully, but the monster is still there, but whitout his image and it doesn't move. Still I could succeed in capturing the beast by fleeing from the battle. 

    Also another bug: sometimes, when you flee from the battle, the screen will zoom out and will stay there forever. The game doesn't freezes nor any erro appears. Simply nothing happens after that.

    Sorry for any possible mistakes in my writing, I'm not a native of the language.

    hi wuxiangjinxing, can you expand the mod so that there is chance that all living enemies might surrender and offer to join the player?, Maybe when they are fleeing and fully surrounded, then there is a low chance of them offering to join the player's band, also an idea if anyone could make it into a mod, a master perk tree for the player, sort of companywide perk tree to specialize the company, maybe it levels up with the player's renown, thanks
