Works with legends, but always shows effective hp, base is equal to effective once you equip armor.

What do you mean? Without BF, Nimble, Steel Brow or activated Indomitable, the effective and base are of course exactly the same.

"Base" = the character's Effective Hit Points (EHP) without any damage reduction = current health + current armor/helmet durability

If I've missed something in the calculations, or made an oversight or an error, please let me know.

No, it doesn't improve anything at all (other than the player's quality of life). It only displays theoretical values of a character's effective hit points, using the variables mentioned under details in the description tab.

Can i keep using the Slim 1.3 version if i don't want another trait icon? I've see the mod got an update but if that is the only change i prefer the older version.

The 1.03 version has the EHP information tied to the Nimble and Battle Forged tooltips. You can keep using those if you prefer that type, of course.

The term EHP is wrong in context of Battle Brothers. It will work if only Dmg on weapon can be vary, but in fact the ArmorDamageRating and ArmorPenetrationRating also can be vary. So you can calculate EHP only in term of specific weapon.

Example 1: bro have Huge Hp, 0 Armor => 1x EHP in your tooltip
against greatsword (100% ArmorDamage) he has 1x EHP
against 2h hammer (200% ArmorDamage) he still has 1x EHP
    => tooltip is ok

Example 2: bro have Low Hp, Huge Armor => 1x EHP in your tooltip
against greatsword he has 1x EHP
against 2h hammer he has ~0.5x EHP, because hammers are twice effective against armor.
=> in tooltip we have 1x EHP, but in reality EHP depends of weapon type.

Example 3: we have Nimble bro with 300 EHP and BF bro with 300 EHP
You can think, that they have same survivability. And against greatsword they really have almost same survivability, but against 2h hammer, BF bro twice weaker (150 EHP), whereas Nimble bro still has 300 EHP, because he doesn't care about hammer 200% ArmorDamage.

So you can calculate EHP only in term of specific weapon, which isn't very useful for displaying in tooltip.

I am well aware of the differences between weapons, but those differences don't apply here, do they? What's being described is the value of one's hit points when damage reduction is accounted for. A 25% reduction to armor damage taken is still a 25% reduction whether or not that armor is being hit by a sword or a hammer.

I think EHP is just the wrong term for what you're calculating for head & body armor. Effective Durability (ED?) would be more appropriate and make more sense to me but I understand if you're not bothered to change that.

Thanks for the mod though, quite nice to not have to do that maths in your head.

EDIT: Also very nicely written mod, are you sure you're not Adam's alt? What with you using all the mod_hook v16 stuff? xD

I dunno, perhaps another name would be more suited, but I think EHP fits just fine. Effective Durability, however, is the same thing :) Both health and helmet/body durability is used in the calculation of EHP after all.

I'm not Adam's alt (he's a much greater coder than I am!), but I'm glad you like the mod.

Thanks for making this, i've been using the Nimble one too to check gains with different helm/armor setups. And now with Battle Forged this is even better. Also if you could add the visual overlays for Frenzy and Head Hunter perks it would be perfect, the Frenzy one here on Nexusmods is not updated and Head Hunter never existed. And if i may add another suggestion then i think another visual for the Head Hunter one could be better, cause the current Necromancer "Possessed" one may stack or overwrite with "Horrified" since they are both on top of the head. Maybe that "Blocked Line of Fire" arrow in shield icon could be placed on the body of the bro when Head Hunter procs, or whatever you feel is better, of course if you decide to do it.

      Hi there!
I'm glad you are enjoying this mod, but I'm afraid I have no intention of adding that stuff to this mod, nor making them as stand-alone mods. I don't have a lot of free time on my hands anyway. Sorry!
