Just a heads up, if you load the DLC in UPKExplorer, add a new name for the face material and textures and apply the new names to the objects then click "create game patch" It'll make only the Beyond skin have a black face. It'll patch the UPKs first then install the texture pack at the same time.
Open game folder>Batman Arkham Knight>Gotham's Future Skins Pack>Playable_Batman_Beyond_SF.upk
Add new name at the bottom right Batman_BM3_Beyond_head_Unmasked_MAT_INST Batman_BM3_Beyond_Head_D (all modified head textures need a Batman_BM3_Beyond_Head_X) Go to the objects tab, at the top of each object you'll see a square with three dots, click that and it'll let you apply your new name. Do the same steps for the showcase file and click "create game patch". The packagepatch files will be in your MyMod folder.
To get base game textures, go to the extract textures tab. At the middle left you'll see "Batman Arkham Knight" with grayed out chunkx.tfc files, click those and you'll be able to get the default textures from the base game.
You just have to extract it, edit it and name it to your new texture's name. Easiest way to do that is probably to install the game patch first then export DDS.
Btw you don't need separate folders for the package patches. You can put them in the same folder as your texturepack.
To change it into a suit slot you'd just need to edit the Playable and Showcase names, then create a config and localisation file. It's also recommended to decompress the UPKs and use UPKExplorer's texture injection for suit slots.
There's a guide here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/UPK_Explorer#How_to_create_a_non-replacer_.28DLC.29_texture_mod_for_Batman:_Arkham_Knight if you get stuck let me know.
I have renamed Head_D files . But the game crashes. First I opened the files. Than I renamed Head_D file both on Showcase and Playable. After making and loading the patch with updated names. I've changed textures to new ones. So only the newly named ones became black masked. But the game crashes. What did I do wrong?
In that case the game patch method won't work but you should be able to rename the playable and showcase names and follow the guide for the suit slot method. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully we'll be able to fix the compression issues.
The original one meaning the black one? You might need to rename a few files within the UPK. If you went to the Beyond skin then to your new slot and it showed up the same that'd be why. If not, make sure your textures are injected correctly in your showcase and that the ini is set up right etc.
You mean the icon? You'll need to take a showcaseui package, change the names and inject the showcase icon into it. The way I do it is to get the skin preview first, then zoom in and take a screenshot with Steam. Then open up the showcaseui DDS file and scale the screenshot over it until you have your character icon and it's framed correctly.
Hey,bro I have couple of questions. How can I add other capes from other suits to Beyond suit? and How can I make the eyes white on Beyond suit? Thank you.God bless you.
Just looked, there's a MaterialExpressionVectorParameter_0 underneath the metal and rubber material. It looks like it sets a colour override to make it red but it'll change all the lights on the suit.

Working on it now!
DLC uses the main games Bruce Wayne face. I dont know how to get it into the DLC.
Add new name at the bottom right
Batman_BM3_Beyond_head_Unmasked_MAT_INST
Batman_BM3_Beyond_Head_D (all modified head textures need a Batman_BM3_Beyond_Head_X)

You said change the name
Should I change the Playable_Batman_Beyond_SF.upk's name also?
Or just the head files name?
Thank you once again!
