I have not learned how to do that yet, and I'm not really planning on learning how to anytime soon, as I am playing and modding other games at the moment. Sorry.

the green parts from the ridder mobile still shines through from range, it could be from my graphical setting, so could you tell me what settings you are using.

EDIT anisotropic is the reasoning for this the higher the setting the less the green is shown

Thank you for sharing, because there is little I can do as I am unable to encounter the issue myself, and therefore can not test to see if I have solved it or not.

Thanks for this mod, it looks a lot better as you've painted it.

I know you can't do anything about the green coming through but I have some more info if you're interested.

I didn't notice green flashes or green from a distance, where I did notice it is standing at the front of the Batmobile, (quite close) and look towards the back of the car, on the curves, just move the camera slowly (or the back of the car looking towards the front), you will see some green coming through on certain parts, (slight 'lines' on the curves, a bit like the TVR car colouring, iridescent I think it's a called ) though it is quite minor (although it's a bright green, so it might stand out to some people). This isnt a complain, it still looks great, but it might help you narrow down the green-ness :)

      I've got...

      aniso on x16

      Res on 2560 x 1440

everything else maxed except the nvidia settings like smoke and paper effects.

I was on the first island. it was night (lol), no snow.

Either way, I appreciate you posting the mod.

nice mod man. but i need help. i want to mod this game. but the textures break whenever i edit them and put them in the game (not yours. but some i made myself)

only curious the software and output settings you use. as i myself am not sure what ones to use. i tried using photoshop w/ the DDS plugin. but it won't install for me, the textures won't even open in PS either

All textures, or just Batmobile Textures, because the Batmobile Textures are inherently broken to a degree, they tend to change from the editing program to when the game loads. Like Pink in editing becomes blue, and green becomes yellow ect.

As for any other textures that may have caused problems, such as characters. are you sure you have installed the plugins to the correct folder?

Intel® Texture Works Plugin for Photoshop and NVIDIA Texture Tools for Photoshop. (Intel is typically sufficient because it will essentially save your textures to the appropriate format.)

Make sure those plugins are in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2020\Plug-ins.

When saving textures make sure you saveas in this format:

Also, have you tried editing with the PAINT.net app? It is less complicated than Photoshop in many areas, while being a very good alternative editing program in virtually all categories.

I can't say for certain that these tips will solve your issues, but if you encounter any further blocks, let me know and I will do my best to help guide you to the appropriate path.

Yep. tried using paint.net and that's what made them break. something to do with how i'm exporting probably. will try exporting with BC1 for them all. as i was using BC3 before. also, thanks for replying :)

There are green parts in the wheel even with max anisotropic. I really like your mod but wouldn't be easier to paint the default batmobile in black to prevent these kind of bugs ?

I don't see any green based on any of the dozens of resolution and distance tests I have done. So I can't help you there, and no there is absolutely no way to change the original Batmobile to black. Even after 7 years of modding it's still not possible.

The problem seems to be that the mesh is intertwined with the texture, or at least can not be extracted with conventional or even strenuous means.

I can provide some codes for the Rocksteady Batmobile to black, but that comes with even more texture bugs than the Riddler-Themed version. This is due to basically making all the green riddle decals black, as opposed to the Rocksteady version which is essentially all-white with black decals. It makes it all silvery with a mirror finish.

This mod doesn't work for me, could the Batmobile Unlock mod be the cause of this?

I would try removing that mod before using mine to see if the problem is connected. My mod alters the textures, that mod alters the game code, so while my car may look ugly due to improper texture installation, it should still affectively function, whether it achieved the desired effect or not.

The fact that it does not work outright tells me that it stems from the code, not the textures. You've either installed RESOREP wrong, put the textures in the wrong folder, or have a conflicting mod (the one mentioned in your comment).

My mod is a simple skin mod, if your textures are set up properly, there is little that can go wrong, unless influenced by outside sources.

I'll try with the Robin and 1970's Batmobile, but you will likely get the same vanilla golden hubcaps as a result. Check back on the weekend.

EDIT: I have edited textures for every single mobile in the gallery and they all have that white warning paint pasted on them, and I am unable to locate the texture file that removes it.

You'll need to find a more skilled modder to find and remove it, as it is beyond my skills at this point.

Nah don't worry man the white things does not bother me that much i just wanted it to look as close as possble to the Tumbler since the actual Tumbler was denyed from us by Rocksteady due to the lack of battle mode

If you like this mod, I suggest you check out Mr.JustArkhamGames' gorgeous Black Prototype Batmobile, as it changes the colour to pure black, but is less stylized; perfect for the Batman Beyond skin.

      No white paint neither.
