    Does this still allow Nvidia settings to run well, for example the enhanced rain and smoke?

      it depends on your graphics card
      but there will be a performance decrease
      (for me it was about 15 fps)
      so it could run well but it comes down to your gpu

      But the Nvidia settings arent affected by the reshade, simply the visual of the game, not graphic settings
