For me it is always this scene that I end up just skipping. But if I go to the file to play it on my media player it also does not work. I think it is 102_Warden_intro.bik but I could be wrong. Thank you for this mod I am enjoying it.
The file in question is 106_Joker_escapes.bik. I just tried it out on my end and it does play perfectly fine in-game and in any media player I try it in.
The I/O error on your end leads me to believe that the file somehow got corrupted. Either during the download or extraction process. I'd recommend downloading Part 1 again.
downloaded, extracted and got an error message blocking extraction. it pertained to the batmobile file but i chose skip and extracted anyway to all the errors. put the file into the main arkham folder and never got an overwrite option. i can run the game but dont see any visual upgrade
Test the archive that is giving you an error. The download was likely incomplete. As for not getting an overwrite prompt; you installed it wrong. You don't grab the individual files and just place them in the main folder, you drag the whole BmGame folder into the main game folder.
I Cant use this mod as I keep getting an error code: 0x 80004005 when un zipping and I've used win rar and 7 zip to no success. I've seen 1 comment with a similar issue however the answer didn't help in my case.
I don't have any audio on the opening cutscene when Batman is driving Joker to the Asylum. Well I hear music once they arrive to the asylum but there is no dialogue or sound effects entire cutscene.
I rolled back the original Movies folder and I still had the issue. I ended up reinstalling game and now everything works fine. Thank you for prompt reply and apologizes on my side for the bother. If I ever find the root cause I will post here.

I get an error code: 0x 80004005: Unspecified Error, on only a few items in the folder.
I've tried downloading the zip file like 3 times and it keeps giving me the same error.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
