This is an alternate timeline where Overtel never bought Qirex and failed to take over the F7200 Commission. By extension the F7200 continued after 2156 and were never replaced by the F9000.

Established in 2133 by former engineers of a defunct arms company, Xios International is a Finish company specialized in high-tech weaponry and AI technologies development. Following a call for tender by the F7200 officials in 2137, Xios approached the AG Racing scene and quickly became the new official provider of advanced technologies such as the auto-pilot, energy wall, shield drain and plasma cannons. Although Xios was working closely with some AG teams, nothing would have presaged that they would end up creating their own team.

But things started to move in 2142 when rumours about an AG racing prototype developed by their main competitor, Triakis, got the attention of Xios officials. Intrigued by the idea, Xios’ director Didier Humeau, took the initiative to start the development of their own AG racing craft as a pet project. Barely two years later, results of their early prototype were so promising that Dider Humeau hastened the creation of an entire new AG development division within the company, formalizing the creation of Xios’ AG-Racing team in the process. Officially referred to as SMF-X, the ship was a prime example of what high end technology could achieve, incredible top speed stacked on top of excellent stability and maneuverability. During the final development phase of their craft, Xios also managed to secure a lucrative contract with Natasha Belmondo, the great-great-granddaughter of AG pioneer Pierre Belmondo, a young prodige who was initially trained by Auricom to become their next lead pilot. A shock move that immediately created conflict and tension between the two teams before Xios even entered a single race.

Therefore, their arrival to the F7200 AG Racing League in 2149 did not go unnoticed. Xios’ craft performance coupled with Natasha Belmondo's skills blew away the competition, managing to secure multiple places on the podium during their first season. The SMF-X top speed even allowed Xios to be in close competition with Icaras, by the same occasion offering beautiful racing battles to all fans. Although they were generally aggressive on the track, Xios were often described as fair sportsmen that played by the rules.

Succeeding their debut in the F7200 AG League, Xios rapidly forged a great reputation among AG fans, and the skilled and charismatic Xios’ lead pilot wasn't for nothing. Natasha Belmondo was the center of attention of almost all press conferences, putting Auricom to shame to have failed to keep their promising pilot within their ranks. However, despite remarkable performances in the F7200 AG League, Xios withdrew from the competition in 2172 after being approached by EG-r Technologies. This announcement left many fans disappointed with only a hope to see Xios coming back at some point.
