This is an alternate timeline where Overtel never bought Qirex and failed to take over the F7200 Commission. By extension the F7200 continued after 2156 and were never replaced by the F9000.

Established in 2138 by four-time world champion Wolfgang Van-Über, Van-Über Racing Development are an AG team embodying the belief of the "Purity of the Race". This term referred to Van-Über's more traditional and sportsmanship-like approach to AG-Racing as opposed to heavy reliance on agressive tactics and weaponry to gain a lead over the other competitors. Having been committed to these values, commenters believed he was hampered by his refusal to "play dirty” with other pilots. Wanting to see similar actions in the F7200 League, Van-Über registered the team to compete in the F7200 League five years later in 2143.

Van-Über's ZR-240 craft were fairly agile with a strong thrust, but had incredibly weak shields in their first two seasons. Much of their races often ended with their pilots eliminated from the races entirely. In order to address this issue, Dieter Schmidt was hired in 2146 as chief engineer to help improve the durability of their craft. Despite some noticeable improvements, their shields remained fairly weak but enough to keep them going.

While Van-Über remained committed to their founder's ideals, some of the teams and officials were largely skeptical of the team's approach to the racing scene. There were even rumors in 2149 that Van-Über were working on a very powerful weapons system to counter the arrival of Tigron that year in the F7200 League. These however, were eventually shot down by the team's officials, presumably to avoid giving possible confirmation of such developments and ironically contradict their beliefs.

Although the team were rather popular among the general AG audience, they started to reach a peak among younger fans after one of their pilots, Nami Mishima, was compared to famous AG Legend Arial Tetsuo due to similar demographics and success achieved during their careers. This has led to the team pushing to put Mishima in the leading position, where they saw a fair amount of success through her racing prowess. While not as successful as some of the veteran teams, they continued to compete in the later seasons of the league.
