The "Recruit Origin characters" feature is still a bit rough. Potential Issues: - You have to talk to Shadowheart or she will appear outside of camp in some situation. - Wyll Karlach confrontation scene may get skipped and cause issues - Needs a save and reload for their Spellbook to update - Halsin dies after teleporting to act 2, because for the game he died in act 1
Not teleporting and/or the game hangs - Might be an internal game bug with the function i use to switch between acts - I myself have never experienced it
Some enemies are broken - Dragons don't have the ability to move, this is a vanilla problem - Aunt Ethel's legendary action does not work because her double is missing (i removed her for now) - Getting wiped by a Gilded Imp will not trigger the game over screen - Possession Ghost is way too overpowered (i rather have it than not for now tho) - 2 or more Ketheric at once might create an infinite resurrection loop
Item clutter in inventory is a known issue. - I suggest you drop stuff you don't need on the ground after entering a Map as it will get removed when the Scenario starts - Install a mod like Trade with Withers - I'll implement a merchant at some point (i just never need it when playing myself) Enemies being at way higher level - Characters don't directly scale with level, so i don't see an issue with them being higher level, there might be a few exceptions tho - Fleeing from combat is an option
You will get achievements accidentally because i mess with the game a lot - set EnableAchievements to false in ScriptExtenderSettings.json
No prompt, no window. - Not installed properly. Use BG3 Mod Manager and follow basic mod installation instructions. (i will link one soon) - Throws an error because of other mods. Check console logs and report back. Enabling the Script Extender Console - Press Refresh in BG3ModManager to make sure its actually on the left side No window, but the mod is loaded. - Older GPUs tend to having issues with the Script Extender's IMGUI implementation, so if a prompt is displayed but no window i can't do much. - Patches for compatibility with older GPUs has landed in Script Extender v18 - Disable overlays (Nvidia/AMD/Discord, etc; Steam might be fine). - Switch the rendering API: test both Vulkan and DirectX 11. You can switch it through Larian's launcher. - Delete "...\Baldurs Gate 3\bin\imgui.ini"
Forced to Long Rest and/or teleported - Probably Raphael messing with you. I haven't found a way to prevent it. - Might be related to shadowheart and would not happen if recruited
Multiplayer - The Host has the power and is the center for most systems - All resources are treated the same as in Singleplayer - Splitting resources in multiplayer is a complicated problem i will not solve for now
I receive a lot of suggestions and I at least consider most of them. In the end, it all requires a lot of work and I can't implement most of the ideas for now.
Last year i had a personal conflict with members in power of related discord communities. The opposing party is creating a hostile environment for me to this day which makes it hard for me to find motivation continuing bg3 related activities. For now i will continue to be dead silent.
I have a problem with the mod menu. After re-entering the game it completely disappeared, even pressing the "U" button does not help, the character simply takes the weapon in his hands. This is the second time I encounter this problem, the first time reinstalling the game helped.
Did you possibly step away while waiting for the game to load? The "Start Trials of Tav?" prompt disappears after a minute or two, and you have to re-load your save to get it to come back. This has been a source of U not working for me, when I forget about this.
works on initial load, but if I close game and reopen the game is no longer set to the roguelike mode, and the key bind to open the settings does nothing
The mod is working pretty well the only issue I seem to have is that my mouse pointer isn't interacting correctly with the mod menu and is a little off centered when I try to click any of the options. Is there a solution to this problem?
Found way to get unstuck long rest in new update, in Extras section in Trial of Tav menu, click Cancel Dialog and/or End Long Rest, so you able to do another round of this wonderful mod!

I echo this! I've been following this mod since it first released, and must account for hundreds of hours between me and my friend doing different challenge runs in ToT. This is such a great and useful mod, maybe my GOAT, and hope we see it get love one more time <3
Same, I am aware of reupload of the Same mod with new stuff, but I don't want to ditch my save files that is currently using it and it's not like the Author is abandoning the project, we just have to be patient and root for them!
