I don't know how to implement it. I hope a better modder than me makes it.
I also felt a lot of frustration with the Radial Menu while playing as a Controller, so I created this Dummy Spell mod.
Play more conveniently using Dummy Spell. Let me give you a little tip.
The abilities included in the item (basic attack, secondary attack, archery, spinning attack, tripping, light generation, water generation, horror scream, etc.) can be freely changed by equipping the item, and can be freely used on the first Radial Wheel. Let it be laid out.
Want to uninstall all of your wizard character's spells and re-equip them all from scratch?
Fill the empty space in the first Radial Wheel mentioned above with Dummy Spell. Also, equip all of your wizard character's spells from the beginning.
Spells from lower levels must be equipped first to be placed on the Radial Wheel in order. Since the empty space has been removed with Dummy Spells, they will be placed in the order you want them on the Radial Wheel.
Once this is done, remove the Dummy Spell on the first Radial Wheel again. Because the empty space in the first Radial Wheel is more important than you think.
Reusable spells such as Speak with the Dead, Mobility Attack, and Witch arrow are created in empty spaces. Therefore, you must secure an empty space in the first radial wheel.
Is it complicated? well. This game's ControllerUI is a mess.
So idk if its just me, but If i Put a third sometimes even second Dummy spell in the next wheel. It takes it away from the previous wheel. https://imgur.com/a/Xt50iJK
First picture you can see dummy #4 oin the most right of the wheel. Then after i enter #4 on the next wheel it automaticly takes it away from the previous wheel (second screenshot)
I've been playing BG3 for a long time, and I've been on NexusMods for a long time. But I read your post today. I'm uploading the 24 36 48 versions that I archived before. 2024-11-11
Just do it the same way you would register any other spell to Radial Wheel. However, since it is transparent, it may be difficult to find. you can find
it's so annoying when you load a save and then everything just gets shuffled around to the blank spaces! Thank you for this quality of life improvement <3

You don't need more than 12 Dummy Spells.
This is because Dummy Spells can be registered repeatedly in each Radial Wheel.
For example, from Dummy 1 to Dummy 12, 12 of each can be registered in both Radial Wheel 1 and Radial Wheel 2.
So you don't need more than 12 Dummy Wheels.
Therefore, I am stopping sharing versions 24, 36, and 48 of Dummy Spells for ControllerUI Radial Menu.

I think this is the best we can do right now.
