I downloaded this mod today but decided to delete it because I didn't want it anymore. I launch the game then am led to the screen that says "press a button to continue". I press a button and am led to the menu and when I try to hit continue it gives me an alert that says my last save had the mod and my game might be unstable without it and asks me if I want to continue. When I press continue it then leads me back to the "press a button to continue" screen again. It's a constant loop and now I can't play. I'm going to try to redownload it and see if that works but if not I don't know what to do :(
You MUST get rid of all the items this mod adds before uninstalling. You cannot have those equipped or in inventory. Best way to do it, reinstall the mod, summon the tutorial chest, put all objects of the mod on it and wait it to vanish. (tested and working)
Some armour hides body parts by default (to prevent clipping I assume). Is there a way to toggle them back on with the tool? I'm getting missing body parts when I equip my custom armour.
I could do a work around by inheriting/cloning from some underwear or something and then adding the sub-meshes separately. Or I could add them back in with something from "Characters visual bank explorer"?
Hi , not yet with the tool but you can manually override the visual bank entry (the one with the gr2 file reference) that’s the one that tells which part to hide with the vertexcolormask entry.
Is manually overriding visual bank entry something that can easily be done with a text editor, or is it a matter of getting other tools to unpack the .pak file and using something like Blender to set?
Thanks for help.
Edit: I can see the entries for the VertexColorMaskSlots in the Visual bank info and they match bg3 modding wiki. I guess this is it?
Edit 2: found a temporary work-around with HUM_F_NKD_Body Visual Bank. Might be from another person's mod though.
Uploaded version 5.0 Now you can manage your meshes/textures and hide/unhide VertexColorMaskSlots. See sample at https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/10065
I'm kind of shook how easy it was to make a quick prototype armour edit. I think including installation it was less than an hour. Going to have to dig into this when I have more time.
I'm struggling to get a functional mod however - I am following the tutorial closely, but when I add the resulting mod to the game it disables all my other mods, which I think means it's broken somehow? I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I think he is talking about the video link. You receive this message when you open the link: You do not have the required permissions to perform this action.

BTW, your 2nd link doesn't work for me (I think it will only work for you).
