RadiantGI based reshade preset, better global illumination, bloom and color. Stays true to the original art's color profile, though it does enhance it, and avoids heavily altering the vision of in game scenes as some reshades do, but adds a fantastical feel with a somewhat exaggerated glow to the world. Most reshades do not use this effect because it is performance heavy, so beware. Does things that bloom can't do.
RadiantGI causes light sources to "radiate" onto the environment. This allows the reshade user to amplify or include lighting that may otherwise be lacking or unavailable. Notice your torches and god rays hitting the ground in caves have a more realistic or at least visually pleasing glow to them.
*This preset can sometimes make letters/books not look right, still legible, but i recommend setting an effect toggle in reshade options to toggle it off while reading. It'll just have some bloom like effect on them.*
**On lower resolutions you may want to disable the sharpening, you can do so by pressing home and unchecking AMD FidelityFX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening. You can also customize this to fit your resolution by changing the sharpening intensity of the effect in the lower box in the reshade interface. The original sharpening was made for 1440p**
Reshades in general vary from hardware to hardware because of resolution, monitor color quality, etc. Results may vary.
Install guide:
1. Install reshade from reshade.me
2. Select vulkan or dx11 during the installer depending on which version of the game you run. (ONLY TESTED EXTENSIVELY WITH VULKAN FOR NOW, MAY HAVE ISSUES DUE TO DEPTH BUFFER)
3. Put Radiant Gate.ini in the Baldurs Gate 3\bin folder (the one that contains bg3.exe)
