Maybe they were playing with Astarion's original bat form? Since my mod does also replace the bat/spell he uses in epilogue as Ascendant. That's the only conflict I can imagine.

It is ascended coded to be lore accurate, but the mod works on Astarion in general. Just adds the spell to him. He can have it as soon as you meet him in act 1 if you load the mod.

Incredibly, baldur's gate 3 is not very popular in Japan. Therefore, the scale of fan activity is also small. Although I have the impression that Spawn is more popular in Japan, there are a certain number of Ascended fans as well. Yeah, spawn is loved everywhere mostly because of the media propaganda scaring players away from even trying Ascended. I hope it's not the same in japan too, but who knows. Maybe the Ascended mods will bring more fans to our side hehe <3

He's so small and cute and fluffy...Also wanted to say that I absolutely adore the midnight version bcs it looks like he's wearing a very fancy outfit, even in his batform lmao which suits his character a lot. The second color version was actually made with that intention. It also kinda reminds me of the epilogue clothes with the red bats. Been thinking of making dyes with the 2 bat colors, but it is a struggle to make it look as good as the bats.

thankfully I hadn’t actually got to the point of using the level curve yet so I safely removed it and continued the game at the time
