    Unrelated but if you're able to do this I imagine you'd also be able to do a weapon class edit

    Do you think you could make a 'Greater Greatclubs' mod? Right now greatclubs do 1d8 dmg, which is fine for a simple eapon until you consider that two hand Qstaff also does this...

    Since maul is 2d6, I think 2d4 for Greatclub would make a lot of sense. That, combined with giving it Great Weapon Master synergy (unsure if it has it already) would make them a lot better. 

    Could also make a version with 1d10, I just think 2d4 makes more sense. On par with longsword/warhammer, just trade max potential for more consistency

    Wanting to use a greatclub ranger haha, just for flavor and its sad how uninspiring the 1d8 is

      2d4 would be fine, since you don't want simple weapons to exceed 8 max damage, and I wouldn't be opposed to the consistency. Tho they already kinda did that with the Tenacity weapon skill (which is something BG3 does really well in the system, as opposed to base DnD 5e, where there's like 0 reason to use a greatclub when a quarterstaff exists).

      Might do that. Might do something with tridents as well, since they are pretty trash at base as well (A martial weapon no better than a simple spear)

      Yeah man I'd be completely down for this type of rebalance mod to allow flavorful choices without gimping yourself. Definitely ping me here when it's up and I appreciate your efforts!

      Also if it isn't super difficult we might be able to add some of the weapon skills to different weapons that make sense too.

    Is this compatible with other mods that edit class progression of Rangers? I presume it edits the ability itself rather than the progression, but I don't know enough about the modding structure of BG3 to know if that's how it would work.

      I haven't been playing with mod compatibility enough, but yes, this only touches the feature, which is outside the Ranger progression. So as long other mods don't touch that too, it should work fine.

    Great mod man! THank you for that! Would be nice to have the version with both like you mentioned. Maybe a little op but for some fun builds could be interesting.
