This mod is just two files files in nested folders. Open the downloaded archives and ...\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Generated folder side by side. Go through the files in the mod archives, find them in your game folder and delete them. Both mod files contain only a single file so it should take you like thirty seconds at the very most plus as long as you only delete these two files it's completely safe and you can't really break your game by doing this.
From UGLY to arguably even more beautiful than no transformation.
I'm playing a drow which doesn't really compliment the face as much as other lighter skin characters But when I zoom in, it is one hell of a difference.
Juts curious but am I honestly just not seeing my eye scar anymore because of where the ceremorphis veins are or is the scar gone? I have tried using the mod before and after my transformation and not seeing anything different.
Not a concern for this character, I'm just curious about future ones.
Illithid veins share one atlas with scars and replace them upon transformation. The only way to keep your scars is to blend them into facial textures, like the devs did with origins characters.
Looks great! Does it also change the Half-Illithid appearance for dragonborns? Is it possible to get an optional file that does not change the eye color after the Half-Illithid transformation?
Should work for dragonborns too. My mod is just a texture replacer for veins, it has nothing to do with the eyes. If you don't like their vanilla appearance, you can install Illithid Eye Effect Remover
Not sure if you got an answer or figured it out, but After you unzip the contents, You take everything and put them in the data folder. (actually you could extract directly to the data folder and be done with it)
I do believe the first folder is the "generated" folder. For me, there was no generated folder before this mod. there's a whole mess of folders before you actually get to the files. Leave everything as is.
If you want to use both replacers, you'll repeat the process again. the actual FILE is the only thing different.
The only thing I noticed was regardless of when I use the facial replacer, my eye scar is gone. But it would be hard to see anyway.

lol but that sounds like more trouble than it's worth. I think I will just consider that becoming half-illithid has healing properties. :P

At least for me, it is not changing the veins for my dragonborn :(
