Had the same problem as Kuren12. Non level 1 Patch 8 subclasses (swashbuckler etc) were not showing up. Can confirm that removing just this mod has them showing up. Removed it from the mod list (mid game, i know i know) and its been about an hour and nothing has gone wrong....
If you aren't using Patch 8 subclasses the mod works fine, and it works fine for the level 1 subclasses (hexblade etc) for Tav at character creation.
Playing in a multiplayer game with friends in the new patch 8 update, and we went to switch to the new subclasses. And of the four of us, the only one affected by this mod was the Barbarian that was trying to switch to Path of the Giant. Option is not there at all.
After unpacking the .pak file, locate a file named "Progressions.lsx" and open it with an editor. Focus on the sections within the <node></node> tags that mention attribute id="Level". These sections indicate the character levels at which feats are acquired, with each profession repeating this pattern. By removing the parts related to levels 5 and 6, you can modify the file so that feats are obtained at levels 2 and 3.
Tried this mod with the Artificer mod but was not getting the feats for the Artificer character but was for others base classes. Any way to get this to work for Artificer?
Mod works just fine, but note that if you also have mods that change a class' core features (Like the Unleashed Series, Paladin Unleashed, Sorcerer Unleashed, etc) only the one loaded last (the mod on the lowest of your load order) seems to be applied.
However you COULD say, have one of those Unleashed class mods, level up to 2 or 3, then save and change the load order to give yourself extra feats (Most of the Unleashed mods seem to only affect level 1 and 2) and you'll be fine, just know if you ever respec you'd have to do the process all over again.
The mod (bonus feat at level 2 only) stopped working for me after the last update in April. I'm managing mods with Vortex on Windows 10, and I only have the Mod Fixer and Better Volo Stock, so nothing I can see that would interact with this mod.
The characters I had already levelled up keep their extra feat as long as I don't respec them, and the ones I hadn't played with don't get extra feats at all. Anyone know what the issue might be?
The MC Level 1 option doesn't seem to work when used with BGMM, it only seems to work with Vortex.
Edit: It does work, but only when no other mods that change feat frequency are installed. This only seems to be the case for BGMM, Vortex is able to run them at once with no issue.
Other Edit: I figured out a solution. In your BGMM modlist/loadorder, put your other feats mod (eg Feat Every 2 Levels, from the More Frequent Feats set) above/before this one, then the main file from this mod, then the MC1 option after that. You need the main file for the MC1 option to work with Feat Every 2 Levels. CF-Feat Every X Levels also works. The Feat per 2 Character Levels mod made by Buns will not work with MC1 except with Vortex.

(only tested optional file for 1 extra feat at level 2)
