I dig the idea, but it feels like it should probably be a little bit more powerful if it's supposed to be a legendary. The game's other legendaries still far outstrip it. Perhaps consider adding the Melee Caster and improved crit traits to it. Given it's a drow weapon, I feel these characteristics would fit it extremely well.
Followed your instructions exactly, but it seems that after Patch 1, having this mod enabled disables your party's ability to interact at all with anyone or anything... This is the only mod I have used so far.

Can you make it so the game interprets it as a short sword rather than a long sword? I don't know if Larian added the Finesse tag to it by mistake, but at the moment there's no animation for a sneak attack using it. The wielder just freezes for a few secs till the dice rolls and you can see the damage. I imagine it can be remedied by just changing it to a short sword, but I'm not sure. At any rate, thanks!
wielding a shield also reactivates the animation for sneak attack I had the same issue and equipped a shield for some extra AC and if fixed the animation while performing a sneak attack. It is meant to be a finesse weapon I believe its meant to pair well with a bard or warlock for the melody action for certain RP talks and rogues for the sneak attack.

Then open weapons.txt file and change WPN_Longsword_1 to WPN_Shortsword_1
