Scrolls in Baldur's Gate 3 are extremely strong tools to supplement your magical arsenal. They are also incredibly plentiful, readily available, and higher level spell scrolls even start appearing before the player has access to the spells themselves. These factors combine to the point of invalidating a large majority of actual spell usage, instead incentivizing just throwing as many high-level scrolls at enemies rather than your own spells. This mod is designed to reduce the number of scrolls available from merchants and adventuring, as well as even out the curve of acquiring higher tiers of scrolls.

Installation:
Please save yourself the hassle and just use the BG3 Mod Manager to install. I do not recommend uninstalling this mod at any point during a playthrough. I will be unable to provide troubleshooting assistance if you decide to do so.
Compatibility:
This mod makes changes to a substantial amount of treasure tables in the game. Because it adjusts the base treasure tables, it is compatible with mods that only add items to treasure tables rather than change the tables themselves. I suggest loading this mod early on in your load order to avoid overwriting any mod that directly changes treasure tables. If there are hard conflicts with other mods, I can patch for those if they are brought to my attention and the permissions allow.

- Reduces the quantity of scrolls available from merchants and exploration
- Adjusts the types of scrolls certain treasure tables draw from, increasing variety and removing guaranteed spots for high-level scrolls
