Thank you for this mod. Honestly I didn't realize just how good Favored Soul was until I did an Oathbreaker run with Grave Domain selected from Favored Soul. It really is a great experience.
Yeah sometimes the UA hits and sometimes it misses. This one imo seems more hit than miss, I like the domain selection a lot more than Divine Soul's putting both spell lists in a blender, though the armor proficiencies and extra attack seem like they were tacked on due to lack of ideas tbh.
Yeah I went 3 levels Oathbreaker / 17 levels Favored Soul / Grave Domain. With the combination of spells just theming well with together. Tack on a Power Word Kill. Just feels right lol.

Just saw you comment. I believe the extra attack, weapon/armor proficiencies is to let it look like a melee class. Favored Soul (FS) was a separate class in BG2 (dnd 3.5) were they got proficiencies with light, medium armor, any shield, simple weapons and with the deity's favored weapon. They got access to Deity's weapon focus (more a fighter thing) and Deity's weapon specialization in addition to a very clumsy spell caster mechanic. They used wisdom for spell checks but for everything else spell related charisma (spellslots etc). Note that the favored souls in dnd 3.5 weren't able to increase the number of known spells just the spells use per day amount. So they focused normally on buff/heal spells without checks to avoid an additional attribute. The stuff they got seems very similar to this sorcerer subclass. Like wings, the weapon specialization, spontaneous spellcasting. The main difference is, that the 3.5 version was a divine spell caster using spells form the cleric spell list. I think this version tries to simulate this with the domain spells. The capstone for the 3.5 version was Damage reduction. Giving the FS a 10 damage reduction against non-silver or non-cold-iron weapons depending on the alignment of the FS.
Those features have been moved to 11 and 15, to match Larian's changes to the base game Sorcerer subclasses. So you'd only miss the lame healing feature.
Since you asked suggestions, do ou know the Dungeon Dudes and Pointy Head on Youtube? They've made some homebrew classes and subclasses, I think all for free iirc, or some of them anyway. Maybe they're something you'd wanna implement since you've been making subclass mods
A question if you will please. I'm wondering if we may have a version that adds access to blade barrier at level 12? I realize that this is a 3.5 edition thing; but I've been hoping to see it done. And your mod appears very well thought out and implemented. So, it seems the best place to make a request like this.
Always interesting to learn more about pre-5e stuff. Looks like that feature made it to Divine Soul for 5e, so you should be able to choose Blade Barrier at level 11 with Divine Soul (Revised). (Use my Divine Soul Revised Extra if you don't have BG3SE).

The Revivfy works with it but Raise Dead the one you added does not.
