Guess the Pak version is not supposed to work with the Vortex? It keeps erasing my Modsettings when I try to launch the game with it. ('Notifications Only' version)
'Manual Method' version works fine. Vortex auto install as BG3 Loose in the right folder.
I'm not familiar with Vortex so it's untested. Your best bet would be to find a mod that's also an override or edits .xaml files in some way and seeing what they recommend. For example I've seen it recommended to mark this type of mod as 'replacer' in Vortex
I believe this is already an option in the difficulty settings, but I don't mind adding this as a client side alternative as the general purpose is to clean up all notifications with one file- but this won't mute any of the sound queues
Thank you so much! I don't mind the sounds because I you can even hear it beforehand if a dice roll will fail or succeed anyway. I just find it weird that Larian didn't include the option to hide these roll fail notifications in the game's settings instead of the custom difficulty settings.
Hi! Thank you so much! Nexusmods seems to be half broken at the moment but I managed to get it downloaded. Hopefully this comment will post. I didn't even think about hiding journal notifs, what a great idea LOL! I'll report back with a quick test (technical shenanigans allowing). Thanks again!
It works!!! Freeeedom!!! Thanks again friend. I noticed new facial animations in a cutscene I've watched 5 times because my eyes aren't flying up to the notifications and missing them. I'm enjoying your hiding hit percentage too; I'll minmax on tactician mode but I'm still in my roleplaying hours and this helps it feel more like around the table and less like a dating sim.
