If you report problem, please mention which game version are you using, what mod version. And your entire modlist, most of the time issue are caused by some mod overwriting mine. Move it in load order.
While this is definitely a nice mod, I think Hunter's Mark's main problem (both mechanics- & fluff-wise) is not concentration, but breaking stealth (means no follow-up surprise attacks possible). I'd thus love a mod fixing this.
IS this mod still working? And is a automatic installation via NMM possible? I installed it and it doesn't seem t ohave any effect, which is quite annoying.. losing the "Hunters Mark is now free" every time Shadowheart has to cast Guidance or something..
Edit: NVM it works.. REMEMBER TO PUT IT FIRST IN LOAD ORDER GUYS
Well, it does seem to have stopped working for me right now. whenever I cast a new concentration spell, atleast mid combat, I lose Hunters Mark. Both the Targeted Version, aswell as the "Discount" whenever I killed a target.
Any suggestions what might be causing this? The mod worked out of combat 100%, in combat not so sure. I only added "Daughter of Lolth" in between my last fight and my current fight
EDIT: I tested it with/without Daughter of Lolth and it doesn't seem to be affected by it. (which wouldve surprised me anyways) Does it maybe have anything to do with reloading mid fight?
looks like hunters mark will stay on you after you kill the enemy, I saw that there is a Hex Enhanced mod that seems to work the same way as this mod but it will vanish once the caster has been killed. Is there anyway you could implement that feature for this mod?
Why can't I move this in my load order? It is conflicting with No Concentration Smites by - BingoPajamas. I need to put this after it but theres no way to move it its locked
Can you explain on what you mean? Does it not allow itself to be moved? If so, never had anything like that. Does it not show in mod manager? Which mod manager do you use?
Since, No Concentration Smites by - BingoPajamas doesnt touch Hunters Mark, it does not conflict.
Vortex sometimes bugs out and locks some mods at the top of the load order. Honestly, I think the best thing to do is to use vortex to download your mods so you get the convenience of checking for updates and downloading the updates directly from there but using BG3 mod manager to actually manage the load order cause vortex sucks with that part(it even sometimes just decides to scramble the load order because f*#@ you).
I myself don't use vortex because sometimes it corrupts .xml mod config file (It inject content/text in wrong place for some reason) and makes game stuck at loading at 100% until you fix it. So better to like Mira113 mentioned, download with vortex but install with BG3MM.
While I understand that the 5e RAW isn't worked this way. It is one of the very few spells that I disagree with as RAW.
It should work in the same way a ward does.. which doesn't have concentration needs. So I do appreciate this homebrew version. As it is the way I homebrew this particular spell (also the way I work hex as well)
There's a few other spells I also think concentration needs are silly for. Mostly in the case of martial based magic (eldritch knight, paladins and melee rangers) obviously they're going to be taking hits, regularly having their melee or defensive enhanced spells needing concentration are rather silly, unless you have a pocket support caster who is not in the combat buffing you (requiring a warcaster feat just to help reduce the odds is a silly bandaid an more intended to help benefit actual support casters)
