-You don't need all the mods in the series, the chest just contain the items for your installed ones. (Technically you don't need any mod, and you'll get an empty base game chest! XD)
-You can safely remove the previous tutorial chest optional files, you will still recibe a warning but as they don't contain any item data your save will load fine.
-Elven weaponry Robes is not included, as the tutorial chest file breaks its unique way of adquisition (all the other mods in the series and included here are compatible with using the TC and still get the items inmersively). From version 1.4 of Academy Robes it's supported too, but it's a bit different, read description.
-I'll keep the old tutorial chest files under old versions, in case anyone want it for some reason but future mods will only have this mod as tutorial chest option as it save me the time to create new files.
-This mod doesn't need to be update when a new mod for the series is released, it will recognize it automatically and the new items will be there when you summon the TC after installing a new mod.
-For better organization all crates are added to a chest, as you can see in the screenshot. If you ever want to uninstall the mod, you need to get rid of the chest (placing it in a temporary container like tutorial chest) but you can keep all the crates and items inside without issues.
-Added a version that merge the Elven Weaponry - Smithing Kit with this mod. You can upgrade from single tutorial chest to tutorial chest + smithing kit without problem (Both are the same mod and will overwrite each other). You can also remove smithing kit file after install it.
During the last few weeks, I’ve tested the weaponry mods with the latest dev version, and everything should be working fine.
That said, the weaponry series currently has more than 400 items, maybe even more than 500 (I don’t have the exact count for all the hidden items), all of them with custom passives and statuses. So while the mods as a whole should work, it’s not out of the question that something specific, like a passive or another feature, might break. If you find anything like that, just report it.
Also, remember that all mods here, and all mods you were using prior to Patch 7, will be considered third-party mods by the in-game MM. You will see a warning triangle near them, and the game will ask if you are sure about enabling them when loading your save. They work properly; it’s just how the in-game MM treats them.
Hello, thank you very much for bringing us the Elf Weaponry Series mod I have a small question to ask you. Since each piece of equipment you wrote is unique, if I miss some equipment and get it through the tutorial box, can I get the other equipment that I didn't take normally in the game after the tutorial box disappears?
My equipment isn't unique at code level like other items in game, they are just unique because they are place only one time in one place. If you make them appear in other place, like using this mod or console, it will still be one copy on the original place.
Technically is even possible to cheat to get multiples with this mod.
As description said, it's an example. But you need any mod that let you access tutorial chest if you want to use this midgame and not just hoard all items from the nautiloid XD.
question about mod placement w your other Elven tagged mods and the tutorial chest in BG3MM: does it need to be Elven Weaponry mods Elven Weaponry Tutorial Chest Summon Tutorial Chest
or another way? When running the game prior to putting EW: my Tutorial chest was running fine but after installing the EW they aren't showing up in the Tutorial chest.
Ill troubleshoot more and list any solutions i can find
Hey I'm having trouble with this. By "Tutorial Chest" do you mean the camp chest that is located north of Shadowheart's tent in the Act 1 campsite? I've got this mod loading under the Dwarven Hammers mod but I'm not able to find this chest.
It's inside the tutorial chest itself. The tutorial chest is the chest located on the room next to shadowheart in the nautiloid.
You can access it midgame using any of the mods that summon it. I use tutorial chest summoning but any of the mods out there that give access too it (just search "tutorial chest" in nexus) will work
"Elven Weaponry - Tutorial Chest - Smithing Kit Merge the elven tutorial chest and smithing kit, so those using both need only this file. See description. Use only one main file."
Yes. You will still recibe a warning when loading your save after removing the smithing kit, but as all the info is contained within this mod it will load fine (you even keep any smithing kit on your inventory/store elsewhere).
The chest is inside the tutorial chest, so yes you still need tutorial chest summoning or any other of the ways to access TC once you have past the nautiloid

If it isn't just that you must have a mod overwritting base game tresaure tables, look for it.
does it need to be
Elven Weaponry mods
Elven Weaponry Tutorial Chest
Summon Tutorial Chest
or another way?

-Weaponry Mods
-Elven Weaponry Tutorial Chest
Summon tutorial chest load order is irrelevant for my mods, doesn't matter if it's above or below them.
Have in mind that after installing this mod, only one elven weaponry chest will be in the TC, all chest from installed mods will be inside it.
You can access it midgame using any of the mods that summon it. I use tutorial chest summoning but any of the mods out there that give access too it (just search "tutorial chest" in nexus) will work
So I can delete the Smiting kit mod?"
It will also save you the time to do it in the future, as it's already set up to support future mods ;)
