It's been a month and a half since I've last checked in on my BG3 mods. Due to several work and personal matters, including some temporary health related issues, I have been forced to take a break from BG3 modding. I did release an update for Patch 5 and the mod was working fine, not perfect but fine. I still have some scheduling difficulties so I cannot promise that I will have a lot of time for BG3, but I should have some.
I already did some checking with Patch 6, and it seems that mods work as well as they did in Patch 5. Which is bothj a good thing, and a bad thing. Larian hasn't made any progress in adding even minor modding support. You will still need the Mod Fixer to start a new game, but you should be able to continue saves without it. In some cases removing the Mod Fixer can solve some issues. This mod includes two versions, one with and another without the Mod Fixer.
Regarding bug reports. Most bug reports are for minor visual glitches, which I do plan on fixing, once I have a less busy schedule. If you experience more serious bugs, they usually aren't specifically related to this mod, but are caused by the lack of modding support. This is still only an equipment mod, and doesn't alter any base game content. I would always recommend starting a new game with each new major patch, or not updating the game. Previous patches have unfortunately proven that especially modded saves from one patch to another may have some issues, including more serious issues.
In the next week, I will try to reply to all private messages I have received and I will be going over the comment section and bug reports. You can also expect at least a minor update. Though there should be no need for a Patch 6 compatibility update, as the current version should work with Patch 6, but if you experience any issues, please make a bug report.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Basket Full of Equipment 1.1.5 Update!
18 new items added. Sorcerer Collar item visuals extended. Orin's bracers with Sorcerer collar item added. Humanity's Vanity, Ketheric's Armor and Potent Robe variants added. Original compilation armor, Elven Crescent Armor, variants added.
Please read 1.1.3 patch notes for information about Patch 5.
Basket Full of Equipment 1.1.3 Update! First Patch 5 Update!
Mod works as usual with Patch 5.
11 new items added. Orin's armor updated with new Patch 5 visuals. New Shar dress variants added. Shadowheart's cute princess outfit variants added. Named that because that's what Larian called it in Ain't No Party Like a Withers Party community update. Dyable Songstress amulets added for all race and body type combinations.
You can now purchase the Summon Basket Amulet from a larger selection of traders. Listed in the mod description.
I have received reports that either the epilogue or kiss scenes might not work with mods. There is nothing wrong with this mod, but rather the lack of official mod support is to blame. Updating a modded Patch 4 playthrough to Patch 5, seems to be the biggest issue. New playthroughs started in Patch 5 should not have the same issues. I have also released an alternative version of this mod that does not have the Mod Fixer included. You need the Fixer to start a new game, but you may not need it to load a game. If you experience issues, you can try switching to the Without Mod Fixer version.
There are a lot of bug reports, but all the ones directly related to this mod are only visual or minor gameplay issues. The Basket has over 1000 items, so some minor issues are difficult to avoid.
There is still a bug in the base game BG3, that results in proficiency based AC bonuses not being applied when loading a save. For the Basket that means that all armor are afflicted by this bug. So when you load a save with Basket armor equipped, if you have Medium Armor Proficiency, your AC is 2 points lower on load. You can fix this by changing any piece of equipment, short resting, or casting any spell that alters any stats. I have received confirmation from Larian that they will fix this bug in the future. In the meantime, another modder, wesslen, has released a mod fix for this issue. Universal Armor Fixer. If you do not want to spend 15 seconds fixing this issue after each load, you can download their mod until Larian fixes this themselves. Only the Medium Armor Proficiency AC bonus is effected, all other Basket stats work as intended.
This mod includes the same fix as the Mod Fixer. As such it does not require the Mod Fixer, or any other mod, to function.
Do not use any mods not updated for the latest patch.
Please read the Description tab and look through the visual guides at the end of the Images tab before reporting bugs or asking for help.
Please read this comment section. I've already given plenty of advice for people who couldn't get this mod to work. So I've most likely already answered your question.
Most likely reason of not getting this mod or other mods to work is user error. So if the mod doesn't work. Start the mod install process over from the beginning.
Remove all other mods and confirm if this mod works when it is the only mod installed.
You can also try different install methods. I myself have used BG3ModManager, Vortex and manual install methods.
This error message appears with most mods that are installed as new PAK files, and doesn't indicate any problem. Modding isn't officially supported yet. So that's why that error message appears.
When starting a new game, you need to accept the above error message. Otherwise it remains when Character Creation starts, and you can't use camera controls.
I went through the mod's entire TreasureTable.txt and made a spreadsheet of all Basket items, organised by container and showing which bodies they work with. I'll do my best to keep it up-to-date with the mod.
(Please note that this spreadsheet is based on the NSFW version; if you're using this SFW version of the mod then you're going to be missing a lot of armours from this list!)
I've written about this before and the mod broke the multiplayer options since patch 7 rolled. Could you look into fixing this, as this is an essential mod for many people and I've anxiously been waiting on updates as I want to enjoy multiplayer, but cannot do so without this mod.
Looking forward to any reply from the creator, thanks for the mod!
it makes it impossible to play multiplayer because it shows as a mod conflict although we have the exact same mods (we've been troubleshooting mods for a few patches to make sure we can play together and it always worked) but since patch 7 and the console mods and possibility to install mods from the game itself, it gives the yellow triangle warning that there is a problem with the mod and it's a no-go. even though the mod works perfectly fine in game (well, not perfectly because it still causes the game to lag indefinitely or crash unless you follow specific steps). i am at a loss, it's literally an essential mod at this point :/
Since the release of Patch 8, the mod has been working, BUTit's been causing frequent crashes randomly during the game, especially when choosing to exit the main menu. After selecting the main menu, the game just crashes. It's also one of the most essential mods for me, any ideas how to fix this?
For me it doesn't exactly crash but after conjuring the basket it just doesn't show up and I get stuck in an endless turn and I can't click on anything else, move, cancel turn mode and it gets stuck like this for like 10/15 minutes :(
I was having this issue with Patch 7, so it may not be an 8 issue. Do you have tutorial chest summoning? Don't summon the chest before the basket. It makes the mod grumpy. Also, don't have the camp chest open when you summon it either. Enter turned based mode before you do, it helps. It would be nice to get an update, though.
OK how do you make the bag stay in inventory. When I managed to summon it...eventually, but as I was looking in each bag. The bag disappeared. How to you make it stay put and not disappear?
The basket you summon only lasts for 10 turns, so you can either enter turn based mode and browse that way, or you can remove the entire contents of the summoned chest into your inventory and those will stick around after the summoned chest disappears, but anything left inside of it will disappear as well.
I have not been able to get both Unreleased Black Leather Armor and Unreleased Leather Armor to show properly on my characters. the armors display properly on the character inventory/equipment screen but load with missing textures in the actual game world. I can't imagine the mod is corrupted, I just downloaded it
Yes, it just depends what you want from the mods. For example, mostly use them for the camp clothes and Underwear Options...and yes, they weapons are too good, because they scale and the jewelry is too practocal not to use. :D
So i installed them in this order. Underwear CampClothes SFW NSFW
This is how it works for me. I hope it still helps. ;)
I’m not really sure what I’m doing wrong, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue with the clothes not going into the correct side. I’ve followed the instructions on how to download it and to put it in the correct load order, I’ve even re read the instructions a million times to make sure it was correct, but no matter what I do all of the clothing options want to go into the camp wear side.
