This mod adds a level 4 spell called Greater Darkvision which grants the ability to see in magical and non-magical darkness out to a range of 12m.
Some classes can learn the spell naturally:
- Wizards, sorcerers and druids can learn the spell at level 7.
- Bards can learn it at level 10 through magical secrets.
- Shadow monks will learn the variant "Shadow Arts: Greater Darkvision" at level 6. In this case, the spell has a cost of 3 ki points.
There is also a scroll of the spell.
This spell is based on the Greater Invisibility one. That is why it is a level 4 spell. The idea is not making a cheat, but making a balanced spell that allows characters to see through magical darkness, mostly because for me it feels weird to be able to create magical clouds of darkness but not be able to see through them.
If you find this mod unbalanced, I encourage you to leave a comment with suggestions about how to make it more balanced. Thanks :)
