due to multiple reports of mod archives marked as trojans I removed all 2.01 version .7z files
I scanned both old 2.01 .7z archives and new 2.02 .zip archives with Avast anitivrus on my PC and Virustotal online and found no malicious software. Nor did Nexus scan found anything harmful in both releases. Just to be safe, I sent both versions to a friend and he scanned all archives and files inside with Kaspersky antivirus on his PC. That scan also showed no signs of viruses
I googled what can be causing this and a few recent results (dated December 2023 - March 2024) showed that s#*!-tier garbageware like Windows Pretender some antiviruses can get false positive results from random .7z archives, so the mod is now packaged into .zip
at this point it is safe to assume this was a false positive result and the files in both releases are safe to use
Awesome with the quick response! Glad to hear it was just a false alarm, also no longer triggering antivirus so seems a repackaging was all it took lol
the mouth piercings don't quite fit the head, they float just in front of the mouth. would you be willing to take a look at it? my durge would be thankful lol
As for the zooming out and old model having issues, I had a similar issue with custom horns I made for myself. I was able to remedy that by having the LOD be edited at the same time in Blender. Not sure how that would be for a whole head, but hopefully it helps.
I thought of that, but couldn't figure out a way to edit both models at the same time on 4.2 version
Last time I touched Blender was years ago, modding New Vegas on 2.49. Transitioning on newer version was already a challenge for my monkey brain.
I'll see if I can outright swap LODs with already edited high-res models without Blender or the game freaking out. Hopefully it works, but if it doesn't - old LOD head is about the size of my pinkie nail on the screen, so I don't see it as a huge problem.
I double checked head models in the archives and LODs are updated in 2.02 version.
I need more specifics to figure out what could be causing this. Which head is this happening to? Does it happen to the head or attachments like crest/jaw/chin? Do you have any other DB head mods installed?
@anduril100500 I haven't gotten an antivirus warning myself, but I have seen reports on other mods where .7z uploads repeatedly trigger false positives. Try reuploading as .zips instead.

I thank everyone for quick feedback on the issue

EDIT: Theyre compatible!

a sceenshot would also be very helpful
what does the warning say?

Detection: Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml
Would like to suggest anti virus treatment and then a reupload
