I cannot stress how much I enjoy this mod! I have Gale cook everything, true to the canon of the game and its been a blast! Please, if you can, MORE recipes! MORE RECIPES! PLEASE! Being able to convert base ingredients into meals is soo therapeutic and fun! Hehehe! ^-^
Does this work with patch 7? I want to install this mod mid-game, but don't want to break my save in case it doesn't work and I need to uninstall the mod.
when you were poking around in the files while making this mod, did you happen to find anything that relates to triggering effects on a long rest? I know it's possible because larian coded in the players getting drunk if they use only alcohol to long rest. I want to make a mod similar to this except instead it just gives special statuses based on what foods the player uses during a long rest.

This mod will not change the food in the base game, and yes, food with buff effects can only be obtained by crafting base game food (e.g., Pot + 2 Haggis = Special Haggis). Crafting recipes are located on the description page :)
