About this mod

Adds a female humanoid exclusive medium armor set and a great axe, made specifically for the Eldritch Knight subclass, but can be used for other classes. Options for varying amounts of enchantments.

Permissions and credits
I love battle dresses (despite how impractical they probably are), and I wanted a cool armor set for my tiefling fighter. So, thanks to AnteMaxx's super helpful files and permission to pick through them, I made my own armor set!

The set is qualified as medium armor, has 16 AC, and it has optional enchantments that I honestly picked for my playthrough just cause they sounded super fun to combine. The great axe passive I chose because I plan to build my eldritch knight full on attack, and that with the boots of speed enchantment? Absolutely hilarious, I can't wait to play further into the game with both.

This mod comes with three versions and a lot of optional or customizable files, and is only obtainable on a new game as starting equipment currently, so please read the full description before installing.

Installation Tutorial/Files and Folder Structure Explained:

The download will contain the following zip files:
  • EldritchGarb - Full Enchantments.zip
  • EldritchGarb - Less Enchantments.zip
  • EldritchGarb - No Enchantments.zip

These are what you will be installing via Candor, and the differences between each of these versions is described in the enchantment options section of this description. ONLY INSTALL ONE OF THESE ZIP FILES.

The download will also contain these folders, whose contents (should you want them) will be placed in the Data folder in your Baldur's Gate 3 installation directory:
  • Required Loose Files
YOU MUST INSTALL THIS FOLDER FOR THE MOD TO APPEAR AS SHOWN IN IMAGES. It contains a mesh edit to the courtesan skirt, which is the skirt part of the armor set. I had to edit it to fit with the armor. There is also a texture edit for the same skirt, which removes the frayed edges.
  • Customizable Starting Equipment File
You may recognize the contents of this folder from my Customizable Starting Equipment mod. It contains an unchanged "Equipment.txt" file for you to customize as you please if you already have a modified version of this file installed already, or you want to put the armor on a different class (like Cleric, for example). The armor/weapon names from this mod are: ARM_Eldritch_Garb, ARM_Eldritch_Gauntlets, ARM_Eldritch_Boots, and UNI_Eldritch_Greataxe.

  • Premade Starting Equipment File
Use this INSTEAD of the customizable starting equipment file if you don't have a modified  "Equipment.txt" file already installed by another mod. It makes the starting armor/weapon for the fighter class this set instead of the defaults.

  • Optional Loose Files - Red and Silver Armor Tint
This folder contains the files that make the armor its red and silver colors. I've made these optional because some of you might want to follow the tutorial in my Custom Armor Tinting mod to make the armor other colors. If you don't want to customize the colors of this armor, and just want to have the colors shown in the images, install the folders included in this one. However, if you DO want to change the colors, modify these entries in your own version of the "_merged.lsf" file in the female armor folder: HUM_F_ARM_PlateMail_A_1_Limbs, HUM_F_ARM_Platemail_A_2_Body, HUM_F_ARM_Platemail_A_2_Alpha, HUM_F_ARM_Platemail_A_2_Gauntlet, HUM_F_ARM_Platemail_A_2_Cloth. And then this entry in the "_merged.lsf" file in the female clothing folder: HUM_F_CLT_Skirt_Courtesan_A_2

  • Optional Axe Retexture
This is purely cosmetic, and makes the axe silver and red to match the armor tint files. Basically, if you want the axe to look like the screenshots, install the contents of this folder.
