Hi, Thank you very much for this mod, clearly for my next run. Currently I use Better Cursor Text Panel for only one functionnality, the "Concentration replacement warning". I was wondering if it's possible to add it into your mod, or make a patch for it (if it's not too complex) ?
I'm not sure if it's really in the spirit of your mod, but I think, that's really apreciable to be able to see when you will break a concentration on the cursor. The vanilla Larian small bottom section is very easily forgetable.
No way to make them compatible as separate mods, afaik.
Combining them into one file is simple but I'd require their permission. Regardless, it makes more sense for that mod to add the feature as an optional file as they add custom UI where as mine simply disables existing UI.
All that needs to be done is to remove the Hit Chance block between lines 260 - 262 in that mod's current CursorText.xaml file. Anyone could alter that for personal use if they learned how to un/repak with BG3 Modder's Multitool. Thanks for the heads up & best of luck!
Sorry for the lateness, but hide hit chance is now working for the latest patch Should be able to update the rest (hide health bars, hide notifications) within a day or two
Great mod! Would love if there was some kind of info about the hit points and hit chance though. Something like in Baldur's Gate 1&2. Realistically you could see if somebody is nearly dead.
For example, something like "Uninjured" when at full hit points and "Near death" when at low hp etc. And with hit chance something like "low chance - normal chance - high chance to go through". But nonetheless, great mod and improvement to the original! :)
Currently working on fixing up my Hide Health Bars mod to be compatible for patch 7, which does something similar with vague health descriptions. I like the idea of displaying those types of status on hover though, might look into a more aggregated version of my mods when I have some time to figure out the official modding toolkit.
Love the idea of this mod and the hide health bars mod. I'm planning on trying it in my next run, but when testing it it appears to break nearly all mods for me. I tried switching it to the beginning and end of the load order, and starting a new game but it still seems to break stuff. Any ideas on why, and how I can make this work? Thanks!
Hello thank you so much for this mod and also for controller support! Seriously, thanks for controller support. It works great.
Do you take mod requests? If so, read spoiler. If not, no problem and thanks again!

My friend and I are looking for ways to hide companion approval notifications. I have looked through/unpacked textures but I suspect it's more complicated than just replacing a graphic with a blank. I am not afraid to try creating mods but this game's engine and assets are super unfamiliar to me at the moment and I'm still doing my first playthroughs. How difficult is something like this to make? Would you be willing, or willing to link me to a tutorial on how to do it myself?
Had a quick look and think I found the UI element for it so I'll try get a working disable for you in a day or two. Did you also want to hide the approval bar in the party screen?
Personally I'd like to keep the approval bar in the party screen because it provides a way to track the game side of things, while hiding distractions during the narrative side of things. But there may be people who prefer a total hiding for their immersion, I'm not sure! Gosh thank you so much again, my next playthroughs are gonna be so lovely without my eyes flying to the upper left corner of my screen~~
Got it working but if it's a matter of distracting notifications do you want the Journal Update notifications hidden as well? It's easy enough to do, but there's no way to hide specifically in dialogue only.
Edit: Either way, files are up on a Hide Notifications Mod page, let me know if anything doesn't work or any changes you'd like. There's an approval only version as well if you don't want to hide quest notifications.
It'd be fascinating to know the effect this has on people's perception of how much they miss. Impossible of course, but would people not see themselves as missing as much if they don't know how many times they've missed a 90%, would you take more risks or less, have to wonder
