I hear a little bit of the old BG 1&2 Sarevok in there, but through no fault of your own the VA for BG 3 Sarevok is disgraceful, and too raspy to attach the original AI to.  I am currently working on a solution for that.

Any chance you'll do Jaheira as well?
I know the new one is pretty good, but it's still not the same.

Nevermind, the issue was me being an idiot.

Oh thank goodness.  Haven't picked up Minsc and met Viconia/Sarevok yet in my latest playthrough, but I used to skip the dialogue.  Matthew Mercer did a great job with Minsc...but I want BG1/2 Minsc/Viconia/Sarevok back.

I always wished the voice actor for Viconia in BG3 had done a better job trying to match the way the original voice sounded. The ones for Jaheira and Minsc did an admirable job....but Viconia's just throws me for a loop everytime.

Personally, I also have to praise Jaheira.
I practically couldn't tell the difference between the old and new voice actors.
But Minsc... Jim Cummings cannot be replaced. His voice is too unique.

Well done, finally the Sarevok we deserve!

Compared to Sarevok from the previous games, he doesn't sound as emotional and aggressive, but I guess that can be understood, since this Sarevok is already more than 100 years old. Ironically, the fact that you didn't make his voice completely accurate made it sound much more authentic. Personally, I am completely satisfied.

Not sure if helpful or not, but Jim Cummings voiced a character on Star Wars the clone wars named Hondo Ohnaka. He sounds very close to Minsc.

Sarevoks voice actor Kevin Michael Richardson, plays the voice of Principal Lewis on American Dad, and sounds very similar to Sarevok.

These might aid if you wanted to tweak those voices specifically.

What you have sounds great! Appreciate your work on this!!!

Yea Hondo Ohnaka's voice is what I used but didn't think of Principle Lewis from American dad, nice find. I'll look into it.

I think it would be better to use the voice of the Mauler Twins from Invincible.
Kevin Michael Richardson voice here doesn't sound as deep as usual, so it should be easier to use for Redd Pepper's way of speaking.

Did it really sound that bad when you tried to recreated Sarevok's voice?
Could you show an example? Maybe it's not as bad as you think...

How about I get you some samples of his voice from other projects?
It is true that in BG he is quite a loudmouth...

How much voice recording do you need to synthesize a decent voice?

It's more so on the VA Redd Pepper's way of speaking that seems to cause issues, tested other voice models applied to his, they all seem to make the same noises. I'll probably re-attempt again later.
