Hi, thank you for this, I love it! Would it be too much bother to ask you to add a third option - scaling but start at minimum 2 points for cantrips and level 1 and 2? Might be another way to compromise ...
could we get a version with just reduced cost for cantrips? so cantrips costing 1 sp to kind of compensate for that. or one with cantrips for 2 sp. bc it's frustrating that they nerf something you woldn't even abuse.
I tried the normal version last night, but I ran in to issues. I am new to modding BG3, and what I did was install "Full release mod fixer" manually, and this mod with BG3 modmanager. When I booted up the game I could no longer talk to npc's, or my companions, Any idea why that is? And how to fix that? I had to delete the mods and the modsettings file, then load an older save to get the game to work again.
So, are you saying that https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/550 (Full release mod fixer) is not needed for your mod to work? Since you dont seem to be running it?
Right, yeah that makes sense. So essentially we run the same setup then. However, as I said I loose the ability to interact with npcs and companions. I had to delete all mods and rollback to an older save to get the game working again. Albeit without the mod.
Yeah I gave up. I tried finding solutions in other forums as well. But it seems no one knows why it happens, or how to fix it. Other than attributing it to "incompatible save"-issue.
Hey!, I love the mod. Just a quick question. I installed the 2 sp version, but the tool tip didn't change. It still says 3 on mouse over (but uses two points on cast). I did install mid playthrough and didn't respec. My character already had quicken before installation. This isn't a game breaking issue or anything, just wondering if the problem is on my end or the mod's end.

Is it still required or can we substitute something like: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/141 in its place?
Great work!
