Just a general note for anyone wondering: I'm not opposed to making something like this for guys too, I'm just still recovering from the demoralizing loss of my storage with all my modding project :(
i have the old shaders, ive tried th .pak & loose versionbut no combination is making this work. Copy the generated folder into the game data folder but nothing is making the textures load. How do i make this work?
everything worked great! one problem im having though is i get a genitals seam that i cant seem to get rid of. any tips?
Edit: For anyone having this issue of the genitals having a dark seam, doesnt make sense it fixes this way, but it does. With unique Tav, for some reason it wouldnt change the genital texture, i moved just the genital textures files into "default" pathing and it fixed it.
Hello, my English is not the best. I wanted to ask you, once installed, to uninstall it, what would it be like? Where do I have to go to remove it without damaging anything within my game, I know how to install it but I don't know which part I should delete when I want to remove it. Would you help me with that question? thx
Hey, you're okay! So you know how to install it, which means you know where the Generated folder goes, right? Go back to where you dropped it, then depending on if you use vanilla or UTAV version, navigate to:
If your files are in the first set of folders, you can delete or replace the textures with another mod. If your files are in the second set, you need to replace the files with something else, such as UTAV's own default textures.
Hi, I can confirm that this works for Patch 7 and I used it for Lae'zel. I had to use the .pak file versions of the Players and NPC and Companion shaders. Installed it using BG3MM and dropped the files from this mod in the Data folder.
Since it's just loose texture, should be good. Still haven't sorted out my own game to solidly confirm, but I heard others haven't removed my texture mods and their games were fine
I'm having trouble getting this to work for Lae'zel. Anyone else run into the same issue and know of a fix? I've tried everything I can think of, using the UTav version, the normal version, and even trying to use UCA and renaming the files to fit the structure there, but no luck.
Make sure your load order follows this order in your mod manager; Get Trips Old Shader Pack. Get Player and NPC - Old Shader and texture. Get Companions - Old Shaders and Textures. Get Unique Tav.Get Unique Companion Assets. Get Appearance Editor and Origin Editor. Now you have 2 choices: 1) If you want your companion laezel and other githyanki female npcs to use this mod's textures then drop the files from this mod into the companion old assets laezel's texture folder and also drop the files from this mod in to the player and npc old shader's texture file. OR 2) If you want your own tav to use this mod's textures then drop the files into ur utav's data folder's into the gty file.
Looks great! I got a question, does this non-UTAV version work with any and all heads? Or is it only the UTAV version that works with custom heads? the mods I'm using now (Better body - Female gith & Smooth and muscular) only works with 2 cc heads and the vanilla ones :(
