I'm actually using this with REL and it does seem to "break" this mod (as in the coffers spawn but all of them are empty.) I believe the items are correctly distributed everywhere else though, but I don't see a way to fix how these work while also making a random loot box roll (since the pool it is using is unique and not currently supported by REL One Click, at least to my knowledge.)
Such a fun mod! The only thing that'd make it better would be to require keys, which can be purchased for the exceptionally low price of, say, 20$ apiece ;)
Jokes aside, I'm running into an issue though which I don't know how to track down: Whenever I open one of the coffers, it seems to roll for an item, I get a notification on screen that I got item X, but when I check my bags, I can't find anything. The combat log shows two lines: 'used coffer' and 'succeeded wild magic check', but no 'used X' as expected from your screenshots. I can only imagine that this is some sort of mod conflict, but I have no idea how to sniff out the culprit. Could sorting bags / camp events / auto-send-food-to-camp stuff mess things up? This one is already at the far bottom of my list, only superceded by camp events, speak with dead tweaks and the compatibility framework. I'd appreciate any pointers. <3
Thanks so much for getting back to me. I did have both the main and the inaccessibles pak installed and active... but I just found out that after my experiments with the load order, the inaccessibles pak got loaded before the main pak, and apparently that doesn't work well. Switched them around, and everything works fine now. Thank you very much. <3
Totally normal. Not every NPC will be loaded into memory at the same time. The moment they are, the mod will see them and put the coffer into their inventory.
(This is such a fun mod. I love the little factor of added randomness that really freshens up a run. So far my favorite drop has been an Arcane Gate helmet. TY & endorsed.)

Would it be possible to add a tag so that the coffers don't get auto-sorted as books? I keep losing track of them (lol).
JWL_Coffers_Inaccessibles.pak is missing from this version. Just a heads up!

Though now I wonder why Viconia is loaded in memory on starting a new game... One of the great mysteries of spaghetti code.
