About this mod

A dark, gritty, and moody ReShade preset designed to make the Shadow-cursed Lands more gloomy.

Requirements
Permissions and credits

A gloomy preset designed specifically for the Act II outdoor areas.

My first ever published ReShade preset! It features deeper shadows, higher contrast in low-lit areas,
moody color editing with a red tint, and a touch of chromatic aberration for an overall spooky outlook.

See the sticky for any issues.

THIS IS A STYLISED PRESET
DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE DARK OUTDOORS OF ACT 2.

This preset was made for photography and as such is not intended for regular gameplay.

⊱ ---------------------------- ⊰

I like to make tailor-made presets for specific areas
of the game which means they will look different in other locations.

You may try using it in other areas but it will look off without tweaking.
Feel free to experiment with toggling effects on and off to your liking!

If you are new to ReShade, I recommend only using this preset
as it's intended: in the act 2 outdoors.

⊱ ---------------------------- ⊰

TO REMOVE THE RED TINT / SATURATION:
toggle one / more of these effects off:
• prod80_02_CinetoolsLUT
• prod80_04_SelectiveColor
• Ambient Light

RESHADE INSTALLATION:

i. Download the latest ReShade from
here.

ii. Run the installer and when prompted choose bg3.exe.
note: if you run the DX11 version of the game make sure to pick bg3_dx11.exe in the installer!

iii. Select the rendering API.
You will want to choose either Vulkan or DirectX11.
note: you can check the version of the game you are running in the Larian Launcher.

iv. Install the shader resources.
Typically, it's best to install all of them.
note: You might want to untick the Reshade_HDR_shaders as its been reported to crash the game.

⊱ ---------------------------- ⊰
