So you may have noticed that I like rats. Also one of the first tiefling characters I encountered was Annah-of-the-Shadows, and she's got a rat tail. So here we are! A scaly rat tail for everyone.

I went for a combo of realistic and cartoonish with some tiefling/cambion details. The scales are from the cambion skin. Rat tails do actually have keratinous scales, so it's realistic, even if it's not exactly the same sort of scales. And the bands are more cartoonish.  The scales are way too subtle at longer ranges, where the ridge bands catch the light well, but I didn't want it to look smooth at close ranges either. This combination, I feel, looks good at all ranges.

It is not colorable. It is always pink, no matter your skin or horn or hair color, this was on purpose. This is not a default replacement tail, and it doesn't replace any of SampleVi's tails. It's a brand new texture based on the default Cambion texture so it will fit the Cambion tail mesh, selectable in character creation with SampleVi's Alternate Tiefling Tails installed.
