This is simply an update to Some Melee Weapons on Hip originally published by Revan770. I had asked him for permission to update a while back but never got around to uploading the revisions.
** 2 versions to choose from - without visible shields and with visible shields. The files will overwrite each other so only pick one version **
Installation: Download the file via Vortex.
If you prefer to manually install, the Public folder should be saved to Baldurs Gate 3/Data/
To uninstall - delete the file Baldurs Gate 3/Data/Public/Shared/EquipmentTypes/EquipmentTypes.lsx
There are currently just a few changes to the original files: 1) Made a correction to an error as reported in the posts by Revan770 2) Moved sickles and hand crossbows to the hips 3) Changed scimitar back to a slashing weapon
To Do List: 1) Look at sheathing animations - some weapons are still trying to be sheathed on the back instead of the hips. 2) Compare with the visible shields mods as there are some additional changes that were made to those mods.
