This is my personal preset that I use in most of my BG3 virtual photography & general gameplay and now I’m sharing it! I wanted a shader that is true to the feel of vanilla but moodier and with richer colors without feeling over-saturated. It also adds a very light, blush pink hue.
Non-comparison images (Images 1-8) were taken with additional sharpening effects and originally in 4k but otherwise are untouched!
Features:
Higher contrast
Deeper shadows
Rich colors
Slight blush pink color grading
Sharper image
Darker nights
Moodier low-light environments
Luminous skin & darker facial shading
Minimal impact on UI visibility
Installation instructions:
Drag the .ini file into your Baldur’s Gate 3 bin folder.
In game, open ReShade (HOME button) and select BLUSHING DUSK from the preset menu.
I recommend downloading all fx when installing ReShade, but here are the fx this preset uses and you need to get the desired effect:
PD80_03_Shadows_Midtones_Highlights.fx
PD80_04_Selective_Color.fx
PD80_02_Bloom.fx
MinimalColorGrading.fx
Curves.fx
Vibrance.fx
Vignette.fx
RadiantGI.fx
qUINT_sharp.fx
LumaSharpen.fx
How sharp the image is can vary depending on your settings so some manual tweaking of the sharpening effects may be needed. This can be done in the ReShade UI.
Edit: I recommend a high gamma correction setting for this preset.
This is my first ever mod so if there are problems kindly let me know and I will fix them :)
