Will it work on patch 8 otherwise, just without the new spells? This is the one mod I'm waiting on to continue my playthrough since my Bard requires it, but I'm not interested in the new spells on them.
Hello,Thank you for creating this mod! It works wonderfully in conjunction with the Unlock Level Curve mod. However, it seems to stop functioning when paired with the Expansion (with Bladesinger) Level 13-20 (Configurable) mod. Could you kindly consider adding compatibility for this setup if possible?Thank you for your time and effort!
Yes, I tested it according to the order you suggested. After further testing, here’s my report:For level cap unlock mods, I am only using Unlock Level Curve and Expansion. For spell-related mods, I am using Mystra's Spells and AdvancedTabletopSpells (I am not currently using 5e Spells). When using Unlock Level Curve, Magic Secrets for Bards above level 13 function as intended with your mod and are compatible with Mystra's Spells, but are incompatible with AdvancedTabletopSpells. However, when using Expansion, the functionality stops working above level 13. Even after removing Mystra's Spells and AdvancedTabletopSpells, leaving only the vanilla game spells, it still seems to have no effect.Thank you for your quick response, and once again, thank you for creating this mod!
Bless you. This is perhaps the rules change I was most upset about from Larian.
On a related note, there's a couple other things I really wish for. I'm not really sure if they're up your alley, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Pact of the Tome in-game does not allow spell selection when taken, nor when deepened. Any chance of a change to that, maybe reusing the code from Magical Secrets somehow?
Spell casting ability for scrolls, illithid powers, etc depending on last-added class instead of, say, highest-leveled class or strongest stat that is one of your class spellcasting stats does... not make sense. Or it's just mean, depending how you look at it. I haven't found a single mod that changes it. Would you?
what can you tell me about your PHB spell mods adjustments for compatibility? i usually use Valdacil's spell adjustments
any potential issues? also how is the phb darkvision for the other underdark races?
also thanks a lot, between this, zerd's rules as written, and the other moders that have made a lot of PHB and TCE mods, it's quite amazing how much cooler is BG3 with following the rules as close as anyone can in a videogame compared to their homebrew.
My spell mods are mostly individual so you can mix and match with stuff like Valdacil's, shouldn't be a problem really. Just load my mod(s) below that for my changes, or don't install them for Val's.
Races stuff is coming, slowly. Most races are irritating since they have more than one set of rules (see Githyanki, Duergar).
And yes, I believe in the goal of making BG3 as 5E as possible :)
Update: 5E Spells main file doesn't touch these lists, but it has an optional file that does, '5E Spells Lists', which appears to make most or all of the adjustments I did and add that mod's spells as well.

The spellcasting/scrolls thing has been fixed here from what I can tell
