Fire Surface while being okish at level 1-2, is notorious for being weakest surface in game. While wet surface increase lighting damage by 100%, ice and grease make difficult terrain and chance to prone, web surface can enweeb etc. the fire surface does pathethic 1d4 damage per turn. This boost it to 2d6 damage per tick. Don't stand in fire.

Bringing Fire Surface closer to other surfaces in game. Now fire surface will deal 2d6 damage to anyone standing in it, so it's not good idea to run through it or stand in it for more than 1 turn as it can start adding up quickly. Enemies will also think twice (maybe) before setting fire surface under their own feet.
Let me know in comments how it feels.
I don't recommend installing it before level 3 as it can kill level 1-2 character fast and wipe whole groups of enemies too. Sadly it's hard to make anything scale automatically in BG3 due to how code is written for many things in files, especially surfaces.
Installation:
1. Download .rar 2. Upack it to get .PAK file 3. Copy .pak file to C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods 4. Start BG3MM 5. Click "Refresh" button 6. Pull my mod from left side of BG3 MM window ("Inactive") to right side ("Active") and place it to your mods order. 7. Click "Save Load Order To File" button in BG3MM 8. Hit "Export Order to Game" button in BG3MM 9. Start game from BG3MM. 10. Every time you add/uninstall/remove/update any mod, repeat steps 5,7,8 or you will have issues with mods.
