Does this Mod conflicting with NoIntro Mod? Somehow the ModManager is not creating a modsettings.lsx to get Mods loaded to the game... Internet is saying it is because of conflicting Mods.
I was hoping someone might be able to help me with this question.
I have deep experience across multiple games about modding, and I like to think I understand how to create effective, and optimal load orders. With that being said, are mods like this 'No Press Any Key Menu' required to be in the 'Overrides Folder' [despite the Description] or is it okay to order them correctly by pressing 'Allow in Load Order'?
Thank you so much 🤘
[Edit] After some research, I learned the following: Mods under "Overrides" are files that have base game folders, but no metadata (Mods/ModFolder/meta.lsx), or no files outside of the game folders they override. So it doesn't matter if you have multiple paks all overriding the Game folder, they should all appear.
override means mod replacing game assets only. pure override mods like this should be kept in Overrides window of BG3MM (where they naturally go). there is no Overrides "folder" (no idea where did you get that).
while mods like this in Overrides they won't be included in modsettings so you can install\uninstall any time without affecting your save. there is no load order for overrides for that reason.
Hello! I am looking for help. I have found you through your loading screens mod (cannot wait to be able to Endorse it, I love it immensely!) and have seen you do a lot of interface-related things, so I wanted to ask: when I installed Script Extender, it now display a forced message when I start a new game that blocks the entire screen and darkens the initial cinematic. I can close it if I can just tap the Ok button, but, though the mouse shows, I have to hit Escape to be able to click on anything during the cinematic, but this makes the me also skip the cinematic altogether. I have looked everywhere for anyone with the same issue, for settings into the files themselves that I could edit, but I cannot find anything related to this anywhere. It doesn't only stop at Script Extender, as it is an issue with just about any "forced pop-up" that might come up from the game (like the old error with mods that said the campaign was incompatible or something) during the initial cinematic. I would like to find a way to, if not outright remove that message, to understand how can I select the Ok option to make it go away. I hope it is alright that I am asking, you seem quite knowledgeable with UI, and, like Obi-Wan, you are my only hope.
Improved UI is the mod you're looking for, it removes both the script extender and tutorial notifications at character creation along with other UI tweaks.
I keep getting an error telling me it is no longer installed correctly even though it worked perfectly for a while. With vortex I made it a replacer and it still says it is uninstalled, and it wont register as an override in BG3MM... Any suggestions?
i previously removed this mod and my game worked fine as though it was unaffected, but after the recent patch i cannot play my previous save anymore. i reinstalled it and it remains broken and unplayable. do you have any idea how to fix this?? this was the only mod that i removed
Installing the newest version of this mod seems to have corrected or bypassed the disappearing Main Menu buttons bug. I was still able to play BG3 when the bug occurred by clicking on the appropriate areas in the Main Menu splash screen before I installed this mod. I also never experienced the invisible characters bug that others encountered. Thanks!
